Is this the new Shadowban?

Hi Guys,

With my +60k account on IG I have always made at least +100k impressions per post, up to 1M for the most viral.
Since 3-4 days, every single post doesn't get more than 5k impressions also after 24-48h. (Same niche, content type, style, 5-10 hashtags, nothing changed).
Thanks to the new IG insights I can see that the posts made before this issue, had +90% engagement from "not followers", while now only 5-6%.
Basically Instagram is totally hiding my posts on Discover page.
I've thought it was a classic Shadowban, but watching from other accounts, i can easily see my post for the selected hashtags.

Anyone with the same issue?

PS: It seems that this issue has started with a Phone Verification (I havent logged out, or logged in somewhere else, no idea)

If it's not any of the above, blame it on Instagram's algorithm. It's your turn to face the piper. Don't worry, many of us have been hit by the algorithm for no apparent reason.

I dont post original but viral stuff, and someone for sure reported me for a video for copyright (that made 1M views) in fact IG deleted it, but the "bad luck" didnt start then cause i was still able to go viral easily.
The only hope is that it is temporarily... Thanks

I don't think it's temporary. As mentioned above, many of us have been affected similarly.

Similar to what you're experiencing, but my posts were int he 20-30k impression range. And yes, it's been a couple months and still seeing the same, depleted results.

I hate this nowadays from those kids in instagram, just because of some useless kids that they are jealous of big accounts than them, they decide to mess with us and make us all in trouble and they are lazy to work so they just report because they have nothing better to do.

It is happening with a lot of accounts..my fitness page gets more than 1.5million reach per week but since the last 4days my posts are not even crossing 5k reach....i checked some stats on social blade and apparently even pages with more than a million followers are getting affected by this (losing about 700 followers per day an not hitting the explore)....So its not because of the fact that someone reported you..Its the new update screwing up with accounts...But there still are a good amount of pages who are doing good..Instagram will probably fix it soon so i won't really stress about it that much.

You sure its the lazy kids or is it cause the content that is post is just viral garbage?

A lot of people like that but also a lot of people don't like seeing it in their feeds.

Ig just implemented rights manager where people dont have to report you for copyright. The system scans for copies of the videos and then throttles you down. Look up Instagram Rights Manager.

My 220k account used to get an average amount of likes of 10k, now it gets around 2.5k. My reach used to be 150k average, 500k+ viral, now it's 30k. Honestly don't know what Instagram is doing

How many followers and how many impressions? In my case I have 36k but am only at max seeing like 8k impressions. Now my content is bomb so I've still be able to average like 1,500 likes per photo but still the total number of impressions is WEAK.

Literally less than a thousand impressions from explore. My posts used to get an average of at least 50% of the impressions from explore, it's sad. Really is demotivating as Instagram also deleted a 400k account of mine without warning or notification very recently, and now a 200k account of mine just got killed. Just over a month ago I had 4 increcibly active fast growing accounts and was about to reach a total of 1m followrs. Now, I have 2 accounts left with a total of 300k followers that haven't been affected by Instagram, and I hope Instagram is done with these changes. It really is funny how this works, all this work we put in just to get spit on by the service we've been using for years.

Won't be posting anything on my 200k account for a while and when I do start posting again and see no improvement, I'll prolly sell the account.

Do you have any advise on how to get to 60k followers please ? I've been on telegram engagement groups and have got 170 followers so far.

I am also part of a group where there are 10 people who have 100k+ followers who engage in my posts. However i am not able to grow my following at all.
