So i have 2 accounts. One with 62k subs and another with 7k. I was making 5k every month and youtube demonetized my accounts on december 5th (i lost almost 4k, because they demonetized me before finalizing my earnings...). I have no strikes or anything, they just turned it off for 1 month (i will be able reapply for review at January 3, but probably they will not monetize me anyway). I was uploading old (1995-2004) documentaries. All videos were monetized. I could upload them to my new channel and they would get instantly monetized, but its not worth it. So what i should do now? Do i just leave them? Or maybe can i join a network?

Joining a network MIGHT solve the problem but if your documentaries have a war, brutality or other not family friendly material in it, it might be a problem to get monetized.

Also you can say it, it's for education purposes but I would not dive into network, I would try to resolve your problem by contacting youtube etc.

I doubt youtube will let me earn money anymore. Because its not my content, i didn't create it. Thats why they turned my monetization off. Even tho all my videos had green dollar sign.

Call the service youtube/google and if it is possible. this worked for me in the past with other things. you must be a friendly beast on the phone.

I can't contact them via partner program, because i am demonetized and not a partner anymore, lol. English is not my native language so i cant talk to them

BUT you can twist your channels a little bit.

1. Make a website
2. Place ads there etc.
3. Don't forget to collect their emails.
4. Install remarketing pixel
5. Try to monetize other ways (affiliate marketing to other documentaries or related stuff.)
6. You can open e-commerce shop etc.
7. And keep your YT account making you money.
8. BTW create facebook group where people can chit chat about documentaries or share other ones. Because if your channel gets banned you can rebuild it easier.

If your documentaries have never aired on USA television you should be good for some time.

As long you can control your audience you can redirect them to other platform or other youtube channel if something happens.

Most of my documentaries are very rare and forgotten in archives. People are very thankful that i upload them, but still... its not my content...

Totally agre with you. But here are so many people who speaking native english or good english and there is a chance to ask for the preoblems and get the money back or get monetize the videos again

Well, i would pay 100euro if they monetize me again. I think its fair price for few calls.

I never got any strikes for more than 1 year. And probably will never get, because discovery and history channels doesn't care about old documentaries.

if you can't monetize again your channels i recommend you to upload some new videos to the channels and tell the viewers that you made new channel and they should subscribe there this way you can save something at least.
