Hey all!
I decided to start this thread for 2 reasons.
1. To answer questions that anybody might have about the tactics/strategies that I'm using (although I won't giveaway any specific details, of course).
2. It seems like fun.
Anyway, for the past 3 months I've been working on a drop shipping store using Shopify+Oberlo.
Last week I tested a new FB ad strategy, and have just started to see a good ROI for the first time. I'm currently getting about 1.8x return on ad spending, not including remarketing, email marketing, etc.
The size of my target audience is only 5-10 million, so I can spend maybe 100k max in Facebook ads before exhausting them. Seeing as I'm doing drop shipping (providing a relatively poor customer experience), and have a limited audience size, I've decided to set the goal of this journey to a saved $30k in my bank, rather than a daily amount.
Also, at this point in my life I'm not interested in making a long term business, and mainly just want to save up a lump sum of cash so that I have money to travel with, and not have to work for a few years.
So far I've made just over 300 sales, but have only started to see profit over the last week.
I'll keep this thread updated over the coming weeks with my earnings, ad spending, moral qualms, and more fun stuff!
