I used to spend a lot of time trying to think of tags, and rarely did they ever work. I started looking up videos that I am targeting to get suggested in and I literally just copy their tags, paste them into my video, and blast them with views / likes

Has been working beautifully for me the past few weeks.

I use the “Tags for YouTube” Chrome extension since all it does is show me tag data. I don’t need the extra fluff that Vidiq and TubeBuddy offer

You can simply open the source code of any video site by right click + copy and paste the tags. This is working since YouTube exists...

You can’t assume everyone knows that. I certainly didn’t, I have only been on YouTube for a few months

thats how I prepare my spun text. I collect articles from top 10 sites. then make a big spun one. it will contain words from whole top 10, not just from top 1 site.

did you try to mix tags from top 10 on youtube? bigger relevancy boost than if just from top 1

Well, I'm stuck on this part. I can't make a good script to make a video. I know how to edit video. I can create good powerpoint slides and make into a good video (as far as I think).

But I can't aggregate ideas about to make a good script. I just think that the video I would make, People won't watch that bla bla.. I need a help from you. You said, you are collecting articles from top 10 sites and then make a big spun here. If you could help me with some of the sites name (top sites you mentioned), or example video (not from your channel), and your video's script making process (if possible), that would be a great help for me.

Hopefully, you would consider that.

So, Tags are doing the most of the part of video ranking? What if I don't have any subscribers, or my channel is very new. Still mixing those tags from different videos will help me to outrank the competitors video? Would you mind elaborating here? Like, title-tag-description-meta data, image-optimization, video-thumbnail - How you are doing to get that great views/subscription? I'm a newbie here in this field. Seeking help from you. Thanks in advance.

Just think about it logically. If you're 1.) completely new and nobody is searching for your channel + 2.) you've no subscribers who are getting your newest uploads... what do you think how people should find your videos? Right, through the search engine. And the search results are based on what? Right, your keywords (in your title, description, tag section etc.)

Some people even say that YouTube recognize keywords of:
- The file name of your raw video you upload
- Your thumbnail (file name + written keywords on your thumbnail)
- And since YouTube is able to transcript videos, some people say that they even recognize keywords of what you're saying in a video

Because the YouTube algorithm is secret there are lots of speculations.

Some positions of keywords are more relevant that than others. For example: The the keywords of your title, description and tags have the most relevance.

But to have keywords everywhere is not a guarantee that your videos getting ranked in the search results, especially not if you copy and paste the keywords of your competitors blindly. It's all about the ratio between the offer (amount of videos by competitors) and the demand (amount of searches) of specific keywords.

So if a competitor is ranking well with the keyword "diet", it's absolutely impossible for you as a beginner to get ranked well under this keyword. You have to go more nichy, eg. "low carb diet". But even this keyword should be too competitive, so you have to go more nichy again, eg. "low carb diet for women over 40" (just an stupid example).

The more deeper you go with your keywords, the less demand are for these keywords = You can't expect tons of views. But the amount of competitors videos is also lower, so your video has a realistic chance to get seen. Now if your getting views, your ranking increases but because you've more than one keyword, you'll also rank better under these (maybe more competitive keywords). Because competitive keywords have a higher demand, you'll get more views from these keyword. Your ranking increases for another even more competitive video of your keywords, you'll get more views etc.

That's the raw priciple. It's working like a ladder. It's not just copy and paste!!!

The priciple is the same for every other websites with an search engines. Ranking videos on YouTube is working in the same way as ranking Websites on Google, ranking products on Amazon etc. So I highly recommend to learn this priciple because you have to learn it only 1 time but profit the rest of your life.

I just want to give you a raw idea in which direction you have to go/think and hope that I could help you. At the end it's important to make your own research + experiences to master this principle someday.

There is a couple of things you can do.

Since you can think of the overall idea then find an article and just rewrite it.

Pay someone to write an article for you. Then use that as a script.

If you dont have any money to start then rewrite. If you are too lazy to rewrite then you are too lazy to do YouTube anyways so find something else.

I guess you use this method for only low competition keywords for that is an old method.

My brain thanks you lol I use to spend quite a bit of time typing tags. Thank you!

Edit: I just used it. OMG this is a game changer!
Many thanks, wish you well on your path to success, merry early xmas -Andrew

Does anyone know of a software that pulls the top 10 articles from google for a keyword and then spin them into one compact article? If there is one i want to know about it...

How much views/likes/etc do you send per video? I'm copying tags too and it seems some videos get thousands of views without any boost and some don't get any views after boost.
