People, I want to try to sell some sort of goods on Ebay using the drop shipping method. Do any of you have experience in this area? What are the hidden dangers of this business? Any advice?

The biggest danger is complaints about shipping times which leads to chargebacks/negative feedback ultimately effects sales. If you wanted to launch something proper I would look into products closer to your target GEO so shipping/quality can be assured then just apply SEO to the listing and watch as the cash comes in

if your honest on all your adverts there no problams at all.

study the market and post good products make sure can get them cheap on aliexspress to profit.

try to use epacket for fast post and try get free post from wholesaler.

I thought that 21 day hold prevented success with dropshipping on eBay?

You should always have enough $ on hand to cover 1 product cycle. 21 day hold is only a problem if you're trying to do this with absolutely no money.

And what happens after 21 day?

PayPal releases the funds so you can use the funds again. But ship quickly and upload tracking numbers and PayPal will release the funds much earlier than 21 days

Thanks for making it clear.

Yeah, that would be interesting to know what kind of software you mean.

I would suggest you to contact sellers on aliexpress and ask them if they would print your logo on the product you are selling, believe it or not this raises price alot and if you find good suppliers you can make bank + if you make your own store on ebay people will remember your brand and will want to buy similar products from you, thats why its better to target bigger category.

i wouldn't recommende using Dropshipping in ebay i just got my account banned after a year of selling and when i started doing dropship with that account Boom banned

How did they lnow that you were using dropshipping?

P.S. Maybe it's better to mention it in the description that you need some time before shipping?

Is simple. After you have this boom of activitys the acount will get a red flag for suspicious activity

Ysa he is right wenne you just created a account and all of sudden you make a god know how much profit from day 1 boom ban

PS : even if you have a old account from before the internet was born you need to take it reaaaaaaaaaaly slow as you build more seller positive feedbacks

This is why I age an account for like a year before I start really pounding it.
I had an old account from like 4 years now and I just sold 2 Giftcards and made a 99.89$ BOOM next day banned just like that
And I have more than 300 seller rating with no negative feedbacks I was growing this account as slow as a worm and only made 1$ sells but when the big profit comes in a ban

1. gift cards are very high risk items on eBay

2. doing a bunch of $1 sales and then selling high risk items is just asking eBay to ban your account because it's shady behavior

And if I start selling several quite expensive items (wooden hand made things) with the dropshipping method, will it be risky? I want to create a new account specially for this activity.
