@himanshuleon got temp banned for spamming by another moderator, but no, I don't think that one is associated with the accounts in this thread as it deviates away from the current pattern.

• It's using a foreign name.
• His posts aren't as generic.
• I found an account on another SEO forum that's quite possibly his.
• His IP points Delhi in Northern India, whereas the all of the IPs associated with the accounts in this threads point to or near Puducherry in the South.

Something interesting to note about @himanshuleon, however, is that a couple of hours after he was temporarily banned, he logged into his second account @leon007. I'm sure you can all see the irony in his 007 username.

@himanshuleon has now been permanently banned.

Just to help you spot out more of them, something else that ties these accounts together is that they're all firstname-lastname accounts.

My cover is blown.

Thing is, if someone is smart enough to do all that then they're smart enough to know that BHW is not the right forum to spam.

I had a slight suspicion last night that he was using a bot for those accounts (I won't say the exact reason why), but I'm still unsure about that.

Somebody mentioned it being a "cultural" thing as well. What's funny is he'll use 2 periods for one ellipsis and then he'll use 4 periods for the other ellipses.

Yes, I can ban the IP, but I have my reasons for not doing so right away.

Why don't you let them use these shitty accounts for a bit, then when they get around to promote their shitty services, you perma ban them after you've got that sweet listing fee

1. I wouldn't benefit from that as this is an unpaid position, nor would I do it even if I could benefit from it.
2. The person behind these accounts could end up scamming someone along the way to Jr. VIP. I'd feel responsible if that happened.
3. They only pay the listing fee if the marketplace thread is approved.
4. The marketplace mods and the forum owner would not rip someone off like that.

Most of this information is available in that sticky thread in the marketplace.

I'm also going to close this thread. While I don't mind answering some of the questions in this thread, I really don't want to provide the more nefarious members of this forum any more insight into the inner-workings of BHW, including what tools I may or may not have. As daft as they are, the more they know, the more they can use against us. All anyone here needs to know is that there's a reason I do things a specific way.

Additionally, the spammer and all or most of his accounts have been banned, so I see no reason to leave it open. I'd like to thank @Turhan once more for pointing out these spam accounts to me.
