I don't know this is the right section to post my question or not, so I apologize in advance.

Guys, I have a blog on my client's website (business website) and I am posting new content every month. My question is if we link some authentic sources like Wikipedia or some other for references about figures or any research work used in our content then how should I use that, it should be do-follow or no-follow link? and if I put do-follow link then will it affect my linkjuice?

How many links can I add to other sites in a 500 words article?

I think that you should be nofolow link and with 500 words you go out 2 links to other sites

I use do follow links, almost never use no follow; say you are a journalist writing a piece of content, would you care to no follow your sources? Say you are a scholar quoting your peers, would you no follow? I dont think so. (other SEO may disagree...)

up to 10 (there is no limit in fact but do it within reason).

I would suggest to keep it this way

1. If it's some trustable source or say high authority website such as Wikipedia then keep it DF.
2. If it's not high authority website then keep it NF.
