Finally Success with IG

Your niche is ultra competitive and not easy to sell on IG. Have you tried pinterest? Group board sharing on pinterest could help you to sell better if your shipping time is fast.
I've tried posting in Pinterest groups but they probably weren't good groups and only used by other marketers.
The other marketing methods I have yet to try are:
- Email list building with giveaways
- Influencer marketing
- Super targeted Facebook ads

I think that your advantage is that you are targeting retailers/importers. They don't set their accounts private and are interested in offers. Plus they're very targeted and will bring repeat business. Whereas if you're trying to sell to individuals, I think most now set their account to private so they're hard to reach through like and comment methods. Also it's not targeted enough and therefore too time consuming just for 1 sale.

Wow, 100k profit. Is that profit or revenue? Seems like you have made it . Do you also try to sell on marketplaces?

Nice work, and thanks for sharing. Never would have envisioned an IG "operation" such as this but you sure got my mind going now...

I did have a couple of questions -
  1. Is it safe to assume you never keep any follows in that on any given day you would follow 100 people (and bring your account to 100 follows) then 24 later unfollow the same 100 people (and bring your account back to 0)?
  2. Do you like/engage anything by the profiles you follow?

This is hardwork. But I am hiring a few part timers to work on this from next week onward as the earning are more or less consistent currently. About time to expand the operation. The reason why I am using human and not bot is because I have access to very cheap labour. Students who are willing to work for as cheap as $1 per hour. So it works out to be more flexible than a coded bot where I am charge each time for an update whenever IG makes changes. Commercial bot, I am going to give it a miss as I had many bad experiences with Followliker and losses confidence in such commercial software.

1. I keep my follow at 100 per day max but you should take a break of an hour in between 20 follows each time as IG will block your follow if you perform this action too fast. I only unfollow after a day, make sure that it is more than 24 hours before you unfollow else you will encounter road block from IG again.

Facebook ad is really powerful if you use it right. For Pinterest you need to post in active groups. Try to research some groups associate to your niche. It is the quality that matters over quantity on Pinterest.

Email list building is good. Takes time but you are building an asset here. Influencer marketing is interesting but I am having a hard time finding suitable influencer that charges human rates. Those that quoted me are aiming for big brands budget. I am not willing to pay so high fees. :)

No i do not sell on marketplace, I am not dealing with retail customers. B2B in general.
That is pure profit after deducting COGS, misc expenses. To clarify I am in the niche where competition is not strong aka the deep blue ocean strategy. Do not expect similar result in every other niche.

I'm not sure I've even seen an active group. Sure lots of posters, but readers and saves? Not really.

I know what you're saying. They'll actually do anything free for a big brand because it heightens their status, but they want the small brands to pay the big bucks.

Hi, Do you have a better way to linking instagram to your site besides the "check my bio for link" kinda thing?

I don't know what do you mean by better way, but if someone have one shop or one blog connected to one ig, this way is kinda interesting https://www.instagram.com/thebigmansworld/
I've never tried linkinprofile but it looks good.

Unfortunately the IG limitation prohibits the ability to provide clickable direct link unless you are a paying advertiser (shop now button). Usually you get people to tag you and that tag itself is clickable and direct traffic to your profile page where your link is shown. Try to use emoji arrow icon to give a clear direction on where to click for your link. Let me know if you have question on this.

it is best to play human with that i had succes with follow and unfollow i keep a few people i am interested and never unfollow to 0 and i always follow from 300 to sometime 1500 and unfollow back to the people I am interested and never had any blocks and I post also, my account is like 3 years old or more I dont know.

Amazing Journey. How are you getting content for posting on accounts?

Amazing Journey. How are you getting content for posting on accounts?

1) Wholesale - I am getting stock images from supplier and taking photo using my smart phone as I own the physical stocks.
2) Affiliate program - I use images provided by the Company
3) CPA offers - 'Stealing' images and edit it so that it does not infringe copyright directly. Bluring certain aspect of the images actually helps and prevent my account getting into trouble.

Not sure about the follow/unfollow thing, a lot of people who tends to follow easily, barely engages. So your account starts growing a lot but the engagement drops and the account becomes shit for Instagram because of the engagement rate. I've plenty accounts dead because of this. Growing with follow/unfollow is easy, quality growing is the hard thing. Any tips?

Nice journey. Really dont know how you were able to mix the whole source of earnings. That is the uniqueness of your journey. I also want to earn from Instagram :) You are really doing fine by doing this manually. I have started with five accounts and I bought Gramdominator instagram bot. It has been working fine. I am following, liking and unfollowing gradually. I dont want to rush things. I have not had any account banned yet. But I may not use the popular method of earning with those accounts. I may try something else to see how it turns out. So far so good, Gramdominator has been lovely. Setting is easy. I hope the accounts continues to grow very well. Wish you all the best.

The key lies with targeting the right audience. IG audiences are too wide and mix. So you need to be ultra targeted and customize your contents for local market. If you want engagement then post quality contents. Don't just post with an agenda to sell. And share your IG account ID. Example, forum signature is good. Blog commenting works well too using scrapebox. Think outside of the box for this. Do not just rely upon follow/unfollow alone. I wish I can reveal more on this but it is better not to spoon feed.

Well from years of experiences with IM, I learned the fact that it is important to diversify your earnings. Bot is secondary, how you setup your method is the key. If I were you, I will refrain from naming any bot. Had quite a bad experience from sharing previously :)

I know which thread you're referring to. I combed through that entire thread to learn whatever i could and didn't feel you were trying to sneak a BST at all. There's plenty of characters on bhw, just ignore them :)

For CPA offer promoting I am doing the current modification.

1) Using a third party tracker that allows me to geo redirect to multiple CPA offers
2) Diversifying my CPA network and offers
3) Tracker to push USA traffic to one offer, UK and Europe traffic to an email submit offer, Eastern Europe to Pin submit offer, Thailand/Malaysia/ Indonesia to pin submit, China to Bitcoin trading offer, Rest of Asia to my customized landing page for content locker promising to deliver a special code to redeem itunes/ playstore in app purchases. (real giveaway but will be in sweepstake style)

This is why you focus on evergreen niches for wholesale so that your risk for excess inventories will be minimise. Ideally product that do not have expiry date. I don't mind having inventories on hand and money stuck there. As I know eventually these items will sell. There is no guaranteed with business. :) Always risk involved. You can only min the risk.

No return policy as my customers self pickup and check the product on the spot. If you want to bypass the supplier you need to order even larger volume which at this stage is too high a risk for me to consider. Let others make money too. :)

Wholesale is a proven concept of business. :)
