Nope, that is not permitted... kudos for asking as that shows respect.
Not a big deal (to ask, to not do it, or to do it...). It is a few people (4 or 5). I can even ask publically in the involved thread. How can we speak together there? Do the forum propose a solution?

BHW does not allow the promotion of other forums or outside entities to share information.
Please do share here on BHW so that all the members can benefit.

You can meet all the people you want on here... you just cannot direct them to another site to have interaction.

You missed the point... nobody should be sharing particulars and if you are you need some education.
General sharing is good for all... particular sharing is dangerous.
Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. I met 4 or 5 French colleagues there. How can we discuss in French freely? Are we authorized to go "outside" to chat?

The moderator is trying to stick to the already written rules the OP is trying to just communicate freely about their business. If you ask me i would take this differently, if all of his team are willing to have a private chat why that be a problem? Since he does not forcely taken them anywhere outside this forum?

PMs are fine but not to get details about others to contact them differently, to get the video-chat, to get the voice, to share with confidence, which is the exact opposite of a discussion forum.

If you want to speak French to other members, PM them all at the same time for a group PM conversation. Then speak French to your heart's content. Just:
1) Don't speak languages other than English publicly on here, as it detracts from knowledge gain from others who don't speak/read French.
2) Don't try and persuade others to leave BHW to converse. It's an internal messaging system on an internal site. Just how Fiverr freaks the fuck out when you write the word "email".
Note that some moderators and admins can see your PM's as well. So don't be calling @BassTrackerBoats a lil bitch. The last guy who did that got some concrete shoes and a one-way trip halfway across his lake.
This is all what I ask since the start.
@BassTrackerBots: is it authorized? @Sherbert Hoover seems to say that this can be done, I didn't understand that from you.
