I'm not sure what that even is but the Mods do a lot of things that others don't see in public.
Assuming he is intentionally posting freebies with malware is a tad out of line, especially because I have personally downloaded his stuff and checked it out.
Hang around a little bit longer and get to know the crowd before throwing shade.

Also the theme could have been infected by several different ways.
Never use a theme on a money site that you have not purchased or doesn't come with support.

I never use themes downloaded from non-official sources, its very easy to hide bad code in them and extremely hard to find all places where it is, its just not worth it. I think in many cases, hiding some bad stuff inside those themes is the only reason some people share them, than comes someone who re-shares it, even with good intention on such places as BHW, where you do not expect it and you are fuc.. I cannot count how many hours I have spend cleaning my sites after hacker attacks and even I know that not always they got into my server with this method, sometimes it was because not updated wordpress,themes, maybe even plugins? or because i stored my ftp password inside my ftp client, thse themes are i think still one of the easiest way for hackers.

Thank you for sharing your perspective here. I agree with you and you happen to be correct as well. I will address my purpose in sharing here and why I am a trusted source,so keep reading.
Personally I believe anything used for a "business" type purpose should be purchased. I support developers completely. It's a matter of integrity I feel. There's also the fact that a reputable website should operate as such.
This includes being current on security and updates as needed.
I offered these shares for a reason.
That reason is quite simple and true.
I support developers and invest myself accordingly.
I believe that people deserve an opportunity to develop their skills, their goals and their interests. You would be amazed at the countless people in low income countries that were afforded some ways to compete.
I can tell you a majority of the people that test themes legitimately buy them as well. Yes there will always be leeching and abuse, but that's not who I support at all. I would be willing to state that my shares here have been appreciated by many good members here that have in turn made the purchase after trying the share.
Though I'm only one of several good sources here, I'm certainly different than most. If anyone reads my intros, my comments or my posture, they will see a very consistent way I do what I do. I DESPISE hacked crap and malicious intentions being used by innocent people. I was a victim myself when I was a noob, it's not something I take lightly.

If I were interested in making a name for myself as having infected "Over 55,000 people" I guess I could market myself from this accusation. However I don't care to as that's not who I am.

OP I'm not angry with you, however I DO suggest that you educate yourself a bit further in situations such as these. Especially before making accusations that could potentially be damaging to others here.
It's not "cool" to let ignorance negatively affect another person's interests. I understand that you had issues with your WP installation, or for dramatic effect we can say you were "hacked." Truth be told you clearly received rather poor information that simply wasn't true.

You can verify with 2 reputable hosting providers here that in my years and various accounts this has never been something I do. @littlewebdragon and @ugjunk for starters should do.
