Since BHW blocked entry for non-VIP members in HAF sections, things have gone worse. There were quite a lot of Tier 2 writing gigs, coming through that section. The new rule took way the democratization quotient of this forum. Not everyone can pay the Jr.VIP fees and survive with measly earnings from writing online.
Freelance content writing platforms are crowded with stupid offers. The requesters make requests to their favorite writer in public boards. Can it get any silly than that?
Regular clients for writers keep moving on to other category of projects that don't involve writers. How do the writers survive the mess? Will teaming up with other members be a good option? We can't just stalk them with PM's too. Anyone found a way after the new rule?

if you can't afford the jun vip ... try to team up.

for low cost gigs the 130 for a jun vip + sales tread is quite a lot. so i can see your problem.

That rule has always been in place; it is just being enforced now.

I'm glad you are finally catching on to that as we don't like to ban people.

97.00 a year and you can respond to the jillion requests for content writers that get posted on BHW. If what you are offering is not going to get you that return then you may want to rethink the industry you are in and consider another.

$97 a year comes to less than $10 a month. You should be able to recover the money in a day even with low rates.

P.S - How long have you been writing?

BHW is not, and never has been, a democracy. Invest in Jr. VIP, then charge more.

Quite logical. Just can't invest right now. Will invest later. I do other line of trade too. Writing provides income on the side

Writing is a slaves work. Glad I got out of it. Better go learn Web Dev and find clients.

You could always write articles for blogs, then flip them. You could team up with a WordPress blog designer for example.

Yeah I'm sure it's that easy
I did it, if you know WordPress then yes it is. Also there is writing please packs and selling on fiverr, gigbucks, eBay etc. The beauty of that is you can sell the same articles over and over again as plr. Article writing for one client means you get paid once. The trick to marketing is think outside of the box
