Big Facebook news

We have the same message.

Some news :
- Their is no link between the removals and the fact that the pages are verified or not (blue/grey)
- Some big "media" that have tons of investment on content creations (videos, community manager, designs, partnership etc) and 100% compliant with the TOS had been deleted or unpublished

We need to have a BIG action and a discussion with facebook headquarters, a lot of jobs and investment are in big risk with no answers and no reasons.

We need to create a common action, and do it big !

The thing is, you don't own the Facebook pages, and there's pretty much nothing you can do. This is the reason I'd never spend my time or money on third party shite like Facebook and YouTube.

we owned for +10M fans and all of our partners and competitors same

It's life, sorry to say.
"We need to have a BIG action and a discussion with facebook headquarters, a lot of jobs and investment are in big risk with no answers and no reasons." Won't make any waves either.

It's only like a business losing their biggest client and then realising they had all their eggs in one basket.

You need Facebook more then they need you.

Its always important to make a plan B. But I dont put facebook in plan A.

Sorry for your lost, mate. I know how it feels

Yes but we are talking about social agencies and hundred of jobs in risk.

It's a way of life, rather like being made redundant because a company owner decides to close down the business. It's all out of your hands.

Its simple
You are of no monetary value to FB anymore.
Your clients have no option now but to turn to FB ads

Its a Win Win situation for FB and a big loss for everybody else
Feel real sorry for you mate

Always have a backup plan and your backup plan should always have a Backup plan!!

I didn't know anyone else who faced the same issue.

Pages that are gone now
Did you guys paid for ads ? even a little or just sharing stuff to get likes ?
Maybe need to change approach which means, instead just try get viral likes, worth to spend some money on ads for just to be worthy for Facebook wont kill you

Just a thought though

I know Facebook has been under investigation and are currently in front of congress testifying about how their ads may have influenced foreign power, so maybe they're "cleaning house" on foreign accounts to save face?

Also, Q3 earnings reports were just released and their profit projection were amazing so also not sure.

It was likejacking pages probably, go move on and try another social network.

Sorry for the loss. I'm following thread to learn the outcome.

well mass deleted direct delete hasn't happened maybe 3 at the same time
but before 6 months a lot of my pages were mass unpublished lost around 40M fans i've been in the Facebook field quiet a long time and i know there are no jokes with facebook so my pages were respecting every single rule of their stupid "pages guidelines" and they still were unpublished
managed to get some of the back not all of them i gave up on the other pages
i managed to almost double that audience during those 6 months now and being extra cautious !
so a tip from a guy that works in that big scale like you is this :
DO NOT HAVE THEM UNDER THE SAME PROFILE !
there are stupid bugs like it happened with me that
1 of my pages for exampled deserved to be unpublished and they unpublished all the pages that 1 of the admins had admin access if he had to that 1 particular page too !
for example 1 profile is admin on 50 pages 1/50 needs to be unpublished so fb unpublishes all 50/50
this rarely happens but IT HAPPENS !
Cause facebook in some words gives no fuck about me you or any one else and they aint gonna accept the mistake
i some pretty strong contacts
big verified pages/fb media partners/ so direct contact with facebook and they simply give no damn man im serious they will tell you this and that and dig the hell out of your page to find an offensive meme you posted before 5 years even if it is deleted and throw it at your face that your page/s do not respect their tos !
so your plan will miserably fail bro sorry to say it to you,,, you don't own the pages fb does and they can unpublish/delete them for little to no reason at all does not matter if you spend 0$ in advertising those pages or 100k $ advertising them !
they don't care so drink a strong espresso get your shit together and rebuild this time try and don't have all the pages under 1 admin
editor/analyst/admin doesn't matter
so if you have 50 pages
have 5 profiles and on each profile have only 10 pages
you will reduce the risk
hope someone gives you a better answer than me and you get your pages back bro
