Hi BHW,

We are a team of European social marketer/entrepreneur and last night all of our FB pages (600 total and +50M fans) had been deleted (not unpublished) for no reasons.
A lot of our competitor had experienced the same things, and hundreds of jobs are in danger.

Do you have the same experiences? or feedback?
We have identified this problem in France and Germany do you have the same in your countries?

We will take action on this subject and reporte to the press and Facebook.

Wow! Nothing similar happened to me, but this sounds pretty crazy! Please keep us up to date if you menage to learn anything new!
 
Yes i am receiving a cupple of inbox of French Publisher also, i am interesting in knowing if its targeted in France and DE or in other countries
 
That sucks. Did they give any reason for unpublishing? I know Facebook freaking sucks when it comes to giving any feedback in regard to their actions, they are quite notorious for it (not giving any explanations).
 
It's Normal same happens in India too, Facebook often delete pages which violates their TOS !
 
FB deleted over 15 pages tonight! Like 10 pages are removed completely and 5 unpublished. Any one else affected? 90% of the followers were USA. Totalling around 7 million.

Their message was:

“Hello,

Your Page "Stop Child Abuse" has been removed for violating our Terms of Use. A Facebook Page is a distinct presence used solely for business or promotional purposes. Among other things, Pages that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. We also take down Pages that attack an individual or group, or that are set up by an unauthorized individual. If your Page was removed for any of the above reasons, it will not be reinstated. Continued misuse of Facebook's features could result in the permanent loss of your account.

The Facebook Team”

That's serious! Though, there is no smoke without fire.... Are you gaming the algorithm in one way or the other?

I know there must an issue because I had never experienced such odd situation.

Were any of the pages with blue/gray verification badge?

We have the same message.

Some news :
- Their is no link between the removals and the fact that the pages are verified or not (blue/grey)
- Some big "media" that have tons of investment on content creations (videos, community manager, designs, partnership etc) and 100% compliant with the TOS had been deleted or unpublished

We need to have a BIG action and a discussion with facebook headquarters, a lot of jobs and investment are in big risk with no answers and no reasons.

We need to create a common action, and do it big !
 
yes all where original 100% video in feed contents
 
Hummm Were you using facebook Instant articles? or just uploaded videos?
