Let's say you make a webpage that has 8 ads on it, you sign up to ad site A and you use them to put the 8 ads on it.

Obviously no one is going to find your crappy page.

But you then go to a popup website (ad site B) and sign up and buy popups from them. Let's say you pay them $1 and they will give you 500 popups for that. You put your web page as the popup.

If you could get even $0.5 per 1000 impressions then you would still in theory make $2 once your $1 in popups runs out, so you would be $1 in profit.

Is this possible to do? Or is this considered cheating the system and would just end up getting banned for it? Meaning that ad site A would ban you eventually for useless traffic (because you likely won't get many clicks).

I've not tried this, but seems risky method...Banning Depends upon Ad Site & kind of traffic. ..

There is nothing wrong with this method..the tricky part is to convert that pop traffic into sales/leads..

Btw..there are many people doing this but they dont put 8 ads only one ad and this page is called lander..and the method is called media buying..

I don't like my chances of just putting 1 ad on there and relying on people to actually click.

How many of you guys actually click on the BS on a random popup? Does anyone anymore? Most people just close them.

At least if I put 8 ads on one then I could get some impressions at least.

may be you could use cs method for related offers, related to the traffic, but not sure how goes about banning etc...

If that's adsense sure violation, it might work on some advertisers still a big risk

There's nothing wrong with this concept, you're basically talking about buying traffic in order to profit from ads you place on that site. It's called "Traffic Arbitrage". The reality is the revenue you will get for a single view/click of your ad is far lower than the cost of buying a click. So you need to find a way to get that 1 viewer/clicker to see multiple pages of ads to even get close to profit on that click cost. Think about creating a site that does Top 10 lists, then have tabulated content so visitors have to click tab 2 to see number 2 in the list, tab 3 to see number 3 etc...each page having more ads on it.... that is basic traffic arbitrage.

You'll need a butt load of content and make fractions of pennies per visitor in profit so scale is key
