Now, I'm sure that many members will jump on me for opening this thread, but I just want to put down some facts because I saw too much bullshit lately, or maybe it was here way long and I didn't see it.

Is BHW becoming just a marketing tool for others?
This is my question.

I saw so many threads lately of people pretending to earn big cash, only to sell you something, people with journeys opened only to promote a bot, service, etc., maybe fake reviews on sales threads, etc.

Now let's see some examples:

"Finally! Started Earning Full-Time Online" - do you know this thread? It's very hot lately. I've read his thread, I said, wow, he must be awesome earning 200-300$/ day, let me add him on skype ( because he said in thread he will help others with his "knowledge" ) and ask him a few questions.
Said and did. I was very disappointed because I only got from him a ref link to an offer, an e-mail submit, which I did for him hoping that he'll share some of the info with me (he didn't say it was an offer, but a link to a private network). I submit my e-mail, gave him probably a few cents and buffff, he never spoke to me again on skype.
My question is: If you make 200$-300$ / day, will you bother for a few cents?

Anyway, next thread.

I saw on a sales thread that some guy was selling an e-book about reskinning games, good for him I said. I read the thread, only good reviews, awesome book, blablabla.
PS. I won't post links for the threads here because if you are a BHW lurker I'm sure you know which threads I'm talking about.
So, as I said only good reviews, saw many users thou with only a few posts reviewing the product which got my attention. Those users joined this forum only to buy the product? Do they buy reviews, do they make fake BHW accounts? Can't asnwer to these questions, but I went further.
I started to contact the users who purchased the product and asked them for an honest opinion and all of those who have replied me back, said that the e-book is not worth buying. Were they lying or not, I cannot say, yet I didn't purchase the e-book.
The question was: Why so many perfect reviews on the sale thread and bad reviews from the buyers?

Next thread:
Bing Ads PPC Journey - 250$ Daily
This one was new to me, with bing ads, so I've spend days only to learn about bing ads, create account, ads, etc., but this doesn't matter, the guy with this thread was prettending to earn 250$ daily as the thread said. Long story short, he opened that thread pretending to earn big, only later to find out that he wants to sell me bing ads accounts.

There are many threads like this, so dear users, don't belive every thread from BHW that you read and ask yourself:

Is this dude trying to sell me something? Do your research!
I know that this thread might upset a lot of people, but these things happen on BHW, we can't pretend we don't see them.

Most people go with the strategy of fake it till you make it :P

All those things go on and happen on a regular basis and yes they are frustrating, but for most they are obvious.
It doesn't make BHW lame, as it happens on every site and marketplace but BHW does it's best to keep the forum clean and protect noobs.
When you spot anything untoward report it to Mods/Admin, they can't deal with it unless they know about it and it would be impossible for them to police every thread.
Hit the report button when you see something suspicious and post in any thread if you have proof and evidence of wrong doing.
Contact support directly if it is urgent.

To be honest all you need to live from IM is already available on this forum for free

EDIT: I mean the "theoretical phase", once you have an idea of what you need to do, do it, work harder, smarter or both, it takes time but it will work at the end if you do not give up.

A wonderful thread and i hope mods will look into this..i have also personally felt that many times good reviews are from newbie and they are on this forum just to post review and then never come back..

Infact in one thread ..i have read that seller is providing extra benefits just to post good reviews..
With so many fake reviews and incentivised testimonials ..it is really difficult for new users to trust who is good or who is selling crap...

Maybe the thread title was to harsh and you guys are right, plenty of good and amazing info available for free on this forum nobody doubts that, I'm just annoyed of thread like those, that's all.

I've experienced the exact same thing for years... lol
Unfortunately it is what is, you can't really do anything about it but be careful.
Nowadays I just browse the forums and just take in information and keep it moving.

People who find good strategy nowadays know that - marketing is hard and do not share their knowledge, because they know many hungry noobs will mostly ruin the method. Not like 5 7 years ago where people shared open some strategy because it was enough for everybody, now people are greedy , they want to make it full time living instead of passive income for small things ... like it was before. So that is the result not only here...

We feel the same, these guys "use" the community for their own purpose instead of giving back by sharing and that bad

It's getting better.

Years ago it was much more obvious when you were allowed to put your affiliate link in your money making and journey threads.

On the other hand there are many valuable share.
Just consider a simple thread like this one: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/share-your-most-underrated-seo-tip-or-tactic.956640/
I know that this ain't on the same category of threads as you mentioned.
With time you will learn and spot fishy threads easily.

For those who are here for some time, threads like that are more obvious, but for those who are new to the forum threads like that are like a nest and they become easy targets.

For every good thread there's a handful of useless ones (happens on any big forum), and sometimes people will try to capitalize on the buzz their thread creates. Unfortunately it's human nature, and the best defence is a dilligent eye

Agreed, that is why we use the report button.
Several members call out threads when they see them but obviously a lot of threads designed to reel in noobs will be skipped by more experienced members.
Hit report every time you see anything that looks dodgy and it will help keep the forum clean and safe.

I got the same feeling - a lot of marketing and a lot of fish to bite the hook.

After rereading the OP, I'm completely with OP. I'm sick of seeing people plug their own software via rehashing some old method that wouldn't even work well these days. And if anyone dares speak out, they just get nooby bashed or even bashed by reputable members. When clearly, they are basically looking for sales and nothing more.

Personally I think this kind of drivel should be kept in their sales threads, and not opening up a side line sales thread.
