Do you experience this kind of weird Google Dance as well?

Look at this:

I was in the #10 for a few months and in the last few weeks on #1, but then some keywords jump to #90+. Just saying I didn't build any backlink since around two weeks and when I built backlinks it were in a very small amount.

Anyone of you experiencing the same and how do you handle this?

depends on what kind of keywords those are and how you managed to get them ranked in the first place.

Google being Google.

I've just had today a keyword that was #67 for a year that jumped to #5 :O

I have a keyword that seems to spend couple days on around #40 then couple days #120+ been doing it for weeks, but I haven't seen it with any other keywords, at least not that bigger jump. It's weird eh

its normal. just because you don't do anything, doesn't mean the sites around you don't do anything either. the internet is fluid :p
I know that, but I don't see how some guys doing backlinks to their sites can affect my site/keyword in this extreme way. Jumping from #1 to #3 or even to #5 is understandable, but this huge drop?

Keep in mind that your competition watching the positive movement of your keywords might have built some links for your site. Backlink sabotage is rife, but most people pretend it is not happening. Do a thorough backlink audit for your site to understand your website's backlink profile.

i can beat that.

I learned not to focus on that shit as it usually banlances out a few weeks later.
meanwhile SEOmateurs go panic and write their "penalty recoverr Guidezz"

oh, and if you do 301s from oldprojects to > newmoneysite.com

prepare for some rough ride for months :

I don't think you quite beat OP :P. He's actually around first page near the top while yours is around 10-20ish :P

IMO google dance is nothing but evaluating if your website is shit or the shit basing on the UX.

And what is this evaluation based on? Content or backlinks?

Its nothing but Google used to rebuild its rankings and as a result rankings of Web sites may fluctuate in google SERP in order during a several day period.

There's always those few days of the month that her mood fluctuates.
Just leave her be for now and work on other sweeties

yes and it is not extreme. extreme would be if you jump from #1 to #20. as i see it now its just normal behaviour

Yes, constant shuffling that leads to fluctuations is a norm. Some sites can recover quickly and some take for months. You can expect this especially if you are in a competitive market.

Have they recovered in the past month since you posted this?
