So which is it: forums are for sharing your opinions or sharing your ideas?
Sharing your opinion and chatting aren't mutually exclusive. You can chat and share your opinion at the same time. Chatting is just discussing trivial topics (e.g., movies, music, bongs), which is precisely what goes on in the lounge.

experienced people who are replying to this thread, be clear on exactly what it is that you want to do
1.do you want to rant about OP's stupidity?
2.or do you want to actually make him aware that he's wrong and teach him on how to ask the right questions?
if it's 1, go on ranting like you are
if it's 2, then you have to make him realize his mistake in a much more concise and polite manner, being harsh to other humans will never ever make them understand their mistakes. it only sates your own ego.

In MY opinion, why people don't reply to your threads or to other threads in general is because it's either a very vague question, or a question that can be answered if you search elsewhere on google and the forum. sometimes the question is hard and it will require TESTING on YOUR hand. sometimes the thread title is un-appealing and just because of the title people don't click the thread.
you ask the right questions, in the wrong manner. here are a couple of thing i see you do wrong.
1. you ask a very VERY broad question. for example, ' how much advertising is necessary '
tell me yourself, if YOU saw this question, what would you reply? think for a second.
you'd think, what KIND of advertising is this guy talking about? of what niche is this guy talking about, what's the budget of this guy, what's the traffic soruce this guy is targetting?
so to answer your 1 question, people will have to answer several other questions and, no one really has the time for that. even the helpful ones, and i can say i know quite a few over here on BHW, even they will try to avoid such questions, because then they'd have to keep asking you 10 more questions on this, and that is a PAINFUL process , and most humans, are born to avoid pain, hence they wouldn't bother talking to you.
maybe if you had formed your question like this ' hey guys, do you know any good social media tactics to drive traffic to my blog. i currently have xxx likes on my FB page but i wanted some more ideas on traffic expansion for my page.'
i gurantee you, you would've gotten much better replies, Why? because this is a short, straight forward question that wouldn't require the helpers to go through much pain ( in asking you further questions ) to answer this.
so when you form a question, make it as informative and easy-to-understand-the-problem type of a question. you will get much more informative replies.
2. i see that some questions you ask are, don't really have an answer. i can see you asked an aweber question a while back.
you were asking on how to use it efficiently. dude, it's an autoresponder you don't really need to focus a lot on it. there are many guides on google that have some tips and tricks. read those, asking for tip type of questions don't really get much of a response here, especially on topics like an autoresponder. another problem is that again, the question poses so many other questions, like for what camapigns are you using aweber, how many campaigns are you running a day, what's your schedule. and just as i described above, there are so many other questions that arrise.
in short, just follow this strategy. when you ask a question, first search on googel for it or the forum serach bar.
if there is no answer, ask this question,
"is my quesiton leading to other questions?"
if it is, then ANSWER those questions in your thread description. if you can't, then don't ask it as no one replies to vague questions because then they will have to know MORE about that question, and that is a painful process, and what did i tell you just before? humans. tend to avoid pain.
i hope you understand why people aren't able to answer your questions in this forum.

well i'm perfecting my communication with other humans and learning the art of effectively commuting a message to other humans.
the other reason is i don't really give a shit about what you guys think, because i'm aiming to hit ego death, 30% achieved it but still left to fully experience ego death. but yeah that 30% makes me numb to humiliation and all such sorts of emotions.
