I have bought some services on BHW and now it seems that a bunch of marketers are emailing me in broken English to sell SEO and other services.

I don't want to assume anything, as my email has been other places, so wondering if others experience this.

I've bought 3 or 4, I think once I got some spammy emails which turned out to be off of a guy who the work had been outsourced to.
I wouldn't be surprised if it happened more often though.

yes a bit
this might come handy

never once in 10 years here have i done that, its not right, its unethical
unless u ask the owner first and there happy to go on a mail list.
but some people will just take the pss and do it without asking
your consent

I get them almost daily from different emails (but obviously from same person) which makes it hard to block

there are certain lines some people wont cross as its part of there ethical being
but some will do anything to make a $ even using your info or selling it on
thats life some people are just born that way. no standards .

They shouldn't, as they need an agreement from you allowing that.

If they are selling your data for marketing purposes, then how your IP's can be safe with them?

Our service model is built around security and privacy.. so no, we do not sell your data, it's also written into our privacy policy so everything is legal.

Just use Gmail trick for example: [email protected] and you will see which services are selling your data :)

Yeah you beat me to it.

I used to use similar email addresses for bookmakers with a number on the end, using a different one for different casinos/sportsbooks, to see who were selling on details.
So Bookie1 was fredsmith19691@gmail
Bookie 2 was fredsmith19692@gmail
Bookie 3 was fredsmith19693@gmail

I get the same thing, @kittykut.

I buy a lot of services from here using email accounts that do not reflect who I am and then I get junk email to those accounts from others trying to sell me different services.

It's not against BHW ToS that I have seen so I don't go all Mod on them but I do tell them that I know how they got my email and will communicate to that person in a manner that is not consistent with a kindly old man sitting on his back porch just relaxing and watching people catch fish on his lake.

Every now and then I'll send a PM to the offender and explain that I don't appreciate them sharing my personal info.

More likely this was due to the BHW database being hacked and email addresses leaked back in 2016 than BST sellers.

I use a "fake" email for all my service buying... and guess what, it gets 20 spam emails a day from SEO related stuff. Never buy a service using your real email, heck use an alternate PayPal account as well because some spam your PayPal email as well.

Nah, i believe OP and others are right. Some of the sellers do sell your data or use it themselves for sure. It shouldn't come off as a big surprise though. Not just BST sellers, but anyone who you get in contact with in the WTB or HaF sections.

I have a question similar to this. Do you think article writers steal your keywords and fire up keyword selling BSTs?

i doubt it, may be few new sellers do that, Not reputable one.

Pretty unethical for your info to be sold elsewhere.

Pretty certain that a small % of sellers would sell your info.

Finding the keywords is just the first & easy part. Ranking is generally the more difficult part.

But finding a low competition keyword is a hard task. If someone else finds them and hands them over to you for writing articles on, you can just perform a quick check and see if it is low comp and again sell it for some bucks.

I can't speak for article writers (I don't sell article writing) but you can pretty much ask the same/similar questions for other services, including SEO, CPA and so forth.

Plenty of services where you can find low competition keywords, it's not as difficult really. You could hire someone today and get a KW within ~72 hours any day.
