I hired a virtual assistant and instructed him what to do.

Some websites directly mentioned their email for guest post. when 2500 contact was collected then my VA sent 50-100 email for guest post. This way I got 45 offers. All my sites I collected were my niche related. Also DA was 20+ & PA was 20+ of all collected websites.

Depending on the niche could be good or on lowend. Either way you are making money, just increase efficiency. You can probably easily expand this with the right automation tools instead of doing it manually.

it aint free. he said guest posts.

I in the past contatacted once 1,5 k and once 2,5k webmasters.
Isually I got around 5-20 either link exhanges, sometimes even FREE one way links, and a bunch of guest posts.

HOWEVER; I am sure OP does NOT check the sites he ends up doing IT for the stats.

I however, Only contacted like UR15+/DR40+ sites.

I wont waste my time on some TF666 Site, which in fact has OBL2000 and just a few good backlinks.

but summing it up..

the time for finding the sites (I dit this by checking competitors backlinks!), filtering, contacting, checking mails, going trhough bounces, I could have bought 5-10 editorial links for 200-300$ a piece. ...

nah, for those 2 projects I tried to be as manual as possible.

hower, that sport site is STILL increasing in ranks. its really cool............
havent built anything in months, and still those "natural" links are working.

Guestposts are the best, but they are so time-consuming. I once collected around 100 emails manually, sent a guestpost proposal to all of them. 12 answered positive. 4 wanted to publish my article for free, and the rest wanted to get paid. Then I had to write 12 unique, in-depth long articles. Then send them individually and pay the blog owners who wanted to be paid.

Anyway, it's easier if you have an assistant who does all that, but I did it all by myself.
