When it comes to on page SEO for WordPress what is better in your opinion - posts or pages? I was wondering because pages seem to be stronger in my opinion and are better for ranking and fighting for particular keywords. What do you think?

for the most part it does not matter; the only thing is you can use silos with pages, not posts, unless you use the category as silo; so it is mostly a question of site structure, but not SEO.
Thanks for the answer and i just wanna discuss one more thing with the yoast seo plugin, is this dose not effect the yoast plugin in somehow ?

totally agree

As everyone said, it doesn't really matter. Affects siloing and potentially your site layout depending on theme you use and other layout options, etc. Pages have parents, posts have categories.

For wordpress all is best, if it's posts or page both have same effects.

Really ?

Coming from a user called Lisa ( Gender:Male ) who has an aged account here but all the posts are from today.

At least think of a real sounding name.

if you are as bored as us then, why don't you start a thread about expired and how change of language effects them as PBN, or any other expired topic of your choice?
how about: is it a good idea to use as PBN a dropped expired that was only used once after expiring the first time, bought from an auction and made a money site (not as PBN)

Wish I were bored. I just need to spam my signature every evening, you know how it goes. #noshame

I am still pondering about making a mega domain history analysis thread, but I guess I will wait for some Jr Exec Vip competition or something. ^^

pages.

less bloated wordpress crap to fuck up your on page.

omg. silo and "category" crap. please. stop.

Content is the key, quality content can rank your blog for you, pages are still OK but then I prefer those content post because they fetch more traffic

Really it doesn’t matter for SEO. Depending how you set things up a page and a post are no different.

Really you should think about how you are structuring your site and use that to decide.

If you are doing small site targeting 10 keywords then posts are probably easier. If it’s a big site covering different topics then pages probably better - I’d say it’s easier doing a silo or generally just any sort of hierarchy with pages.
