So OF COURSE a fake giveaway is illegal, regardless of the product.

Sure, fake giveaways are cheating, but that's what most of BHW members who are into CPA marketing are doing. Free iphones, free coins, free whatever... and of course fake OGAds landing page. I wouldn't say it's illegal, but unethical, yes.

It's not dangerous if you're going to lock the fake movies with content locker. If you are going to lock real movies, that could be dangerous

In the past I've received number of DMCA notices for uploading fake music albums (Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars etc.). Conversions were pretty high, but whole situation made me a bit unconfident.

Long time ago I was locking movies, but they weren't on my site, I would just put link locker to other site, it was viooz.co I think, never had any issues and I had a lot of traffic.

I've thought about doing this and actually giving away the product, to myself on another account, or a friend. Very blackhat though. Would be better to do a mix of legit and fake giveaways.

Overall it's depends where does the person lives,
it is "illegal" but not every country have laws against that kind of activity!
so technically it's "legal" but not "Ethical", it's a BlackHat forum,
everything here is against the rules, you can get penalized for
spammy/automatic backlinks that people are offering here!
you can lose everything by simply using spun content!,
The internet is much complicated to put rules on! but we still plays
