I hear news everyday that people are getting hacked their coinbase account and loss coins. Is it true? Is it safe to keep coins in Coinbase?

No reason to be hacked when you enable two step verification, But, Coinbase fees is lost coins even without being hacked....so its kinda the same :D

Whats is vaults bro? is it different from their normal account?

In the wallets/accounts section and the bottom there are vaults for all three cryptos, use those along with 2FA and a long random password and you should be fine

I’ve heard a few stories also. Personally I don’t keep coins there now, but as above, using their vault you should be ok. And whoever you have coins, always set up MFA/2 factor authentication.

Coinbase is probably the safest exchange in the world. Just be sure and enable two-factor authentication — and use their "vault" as was suggested before. With all of that said, though, it's always possible that even a reputable exchange could be hacked or fall victim to financial failure/corruption/etc. (Remember that even big banks in the real world have failed.) For that reason, I use an offline "cold storage" wallet — the one I use is the "Trezor" (available on Amazon and elsewhere).

Try Electrum wallet.
Please check their fees if it's to your liking.

You can send your money to coinbase and then transfer it to GDAX for free to do your transactions and only pay 0.25 in fees rather than the 1.49% you would if you did it on coinbase. As soon as you have completed your transactions you can instantly send your coins back to coinbase for free and put them in their values or send them off to a hardware wallet.

Safest wallet is offline wallet ;)

Only been interested in Crypto for a week or so but I love my Trezor. It works with Wordpress too so you can use your Trezor to login rather than type your username and password in. Although it may not be that useful to many people if you have a high earning money site and want to take extra steps to avoid keyloggers or something it can be handy.

I've been getting bans on my coinbase accounts. They send you an email about how the cyber fraud police need to keep track and Coinbase can't keep track for them so they ban your account

But coinbase allows you to transfer your funds out of their marketplace before they terminate your account

Coinbase supports Segwit2x so fck them. Its going to be a huge clusterfuck if coinbase moves to segwit2x so avoid coinbase.

People have been saying don't keep your coins in exchanges or anything except your own wallet for years now.
Site's get hacked and go down all the time.....Btc-e is latest example. If you want a laugh, look at their subreddit. Dudes kept $100,000+ in coins on their wallet there just to lose it all. Same story with mtgox few years ago.
Chance of coinbase going down? Low, but it's up to you to analyze the risk.

Stop using webwallets and others centralized wallets. This isn't the way bitcoin is indented to be used. It's unsafe and makes the entire network more brittle.

If you have a lot of BTC my advice would be to get a hardware or paper wallet. It is not safe to store your coins online.

I have a coinbase wallet. I set it up when I first started with crypto but quickly learned how much the rape you on fees. Now i just buy from exchange at minimal fee and use cold storage. Thats your money you are just forking over to them to use their app and exchange.

If you like coinbase exchange GDax is owned by coinbasr. You can just log in using your coinbase account and buy /sell on Gdax at minimal fee (or for zero fee even)

Nothing is safe until you hold in your hands your private keys. No keys, no safe.
