Hello,

I'm wondering what is the approach to bring some money from guest posting on your website?

How do you do it?

Do you need a page with requirements of a guest post and then say that it is paid or it's better not to have such a page?

Cheers.

I mean, obviously your website needs some pretty serious traffic to even bring it up to people. Like at least 2k-10k/day to even consider it. Otherwise no one will spend their money (marketing budget money) that way.

So, assuming you have a lot of traffic to your website, you can create a post detailing your paid guest post deal. Tell them $50/post or something. You can also throw in an advert on your website for theirs if you want. That's up to you, but again, you need to have a lot of traffic to your website first. If you do well then bon voyage, go get some paid guest posts!

I get some requests from time to time. if you rankings are ok and you are niche relevant, they will contac you.

You don't need a page advertising paid guest posts that will only lead to your competitors reporting your site for breach of Google terms.

Site metrics is all you need, once you have them, the advertisers WILL find you.

Thank you for your input guys.

Actually I have one site with a “write for us” page, doesn’t mention about payments etc. But because this page exists I get loads of requests, and have had a few decent orders for guest posting - got contacted by a few agencies paying good money.

So I concluded that having a page and/or wording to that effect helps because people are using those types of footprints to find guest post opportunities.

I want to ask how is your page set-up? Like does it include only guidelines?

Yes, short intro, guidelines, how to contact. No mention of pricing.

I normally gauge the pricing based on the contact request - sometimes I’ve had people suggest pricing up front and it’s been considerably more than I usually charge.

And sometimes people barter me right down, so you have to play that by ear.

i was trying outreach method and contacted 200 people who does guest posting. But Couldn't get a single guest blog.
They are looking for good organic traffic from google. Since my site is new, they are not willing to write a guest post.
