Sorry, I just made this post in the forums about this, I would like your opinion, so I'm copying it here:

I have a personal Cosplay Instagram where I post all my work.

The account was made back in 2012, but I only started to get consistent with use about two years ago.

In about two years, with decent content, related hashtagging, and consistent posts, I've only managed to grow organically about 1500 followers (total followers is 2100)

I'm curious on if Instagram takes a shit on old accounts?
Here are some of the shady symptoms of my account:
•Per post, I only get maybe 4 or 5 followers
•My overall likes on a set of pics recently dip up and down like a roller coaster. From 250 - 500
•Post likes roll in slow, like the algorithm purposely throttled traffic
•My content never goes viral, (I realize there a lot of factors, but I've seen accounts with similar to more inferior content go viral, while mine struggles)
•the post notifications for people I follow sometimes is delayed


I did use an instagress bot last October for about a month, just had it on slow liking. And way around the time I started the account back in 2012, I used one of those apps to get followers and had about 400 fake Arabic accounts follow me.
I did clean then out when I got serious using a mass block method, and then unblocked all the fake accounts to clean out my block list. And my stuff doesn't seem to be shadowbanned.

Could the account be flagged in some way?

I'm set on staying organic, but I'm contemplating on starting over if Instagram is going to keep fucking me over. But I've put so much time into this one it's frustrating.

Any thoughts or advice are welcome!

Just one question for you, I had used FL for about 3 years. I have like 50 accounts running with it.

The problem is:

Last month many accounts are getting blocked ou deleted, and it NEVER happened before.

My settings (average between max and min value) always was:
Follow - (300 - 45s)
Unfollow - (300 - 45s)
Like (850 - 30s)

Questions:

1 - I am pretty much sure that IG change something in their verification algorithm or FL software are with some problem. Do you know what is the problem, FL or Instagram?
2 - Apparently is the like settings that is causing the problem in the major of my accounts. I will be decreasing the like average to something like 300 daily and keep the interval, but you have something like it? Have any help to give me about it?

No, it's not against any TOS.

It's call "Data Mining" or "Lead Generation" it's a thing lol.

All of these you mentioned above doesn't seem to be abnormal just not you couldn't get viral becaue of content and lack of engagements.

1. FL is detectable from IG imo and from my testing. But however IG doesn't seem to ban account, as they know people bot tbh.
2. The settings that you shown seems to be on a rather safe side.
3. Right now likes are still being affect so you're not the only one. Give it some time or you can try to re-warm up your account again.

I can't remember the image scrapper but I think i used "Foggymountain" not sure is it the right now. But it's decent and fast download which downloads captions as well.

In two weeks i gained about 900+ followers and i get 250-300 likes per post.
Usually, i post only one time a day.

Then import username list or set it to FLC.

Re-warm would be start with a low number of likes daily (like 50) and increasing by 50 a day until get the number you want (lets say 800 daily)?
If it is so, could you give a good advice on the numbers to start and to increase here?

Another question, I bought InstaDub and it seems IG also detect them, or I am wrong?

I have a persoanl account that had 20k organic followers, then i used a bot for f/un and got to 40k, Everything was great, good engagement etc.

I have a couple of questions though.

hen after getting 400 - 500 users, filter them manually and check their profile save their user down. After this point you should be getting 100-200 users, if not you should be doing some BIO keyword blacklisting.

1. What do you mean when you say filter them manually and check their profile save their user down? Do you mean checking if their profile is in line with your niche? As for saving their user down, do you mean saving their followings? What about BIO keyword blacklisting?

After ggetting the 100-200 users, scrape their following. Filter them and remove duplicate and scrape the filtered following and repeat. You should have lots of highly targeted and some accounts that bot didn't even reach yet.

2. Do you mean i scrape the followings of the 100 to 200 users filtered from the above step (do we apply the filter of less than 1000 followers, less than 500 followings, etc..). Then compare and delete the duplicates? Then the remaining put through the filter again?

Are you facing temp blocks lately?? None of my accounts can like anymore, both InstaDub and FollowLiker get like temp block after the first 10 likes or so.
