How do you even start a forum?

I have a website that revolves around TV shows and series and sell fandom stuff. How do you begin to launch a forum if there are small amounts of people? There's not much info or like a playbook on the internet for this info?

First of all you will need a script for it (you can easily found them on google), but I will suggest hire some developer to make it for you and you will also need to hire some staff for managing.

word press has a plugin for this, pretty easy to set up. There are also people on fiverr that'll do it for you.
