vidIQ cause google unusual traffic?

Learned about this plugin in one of @Cryogenesis post's but every since I installed it I get those random google messages where I have to fill in a capcha because my IP generates unusual traffic.

Now I already checked all my programs and did multiple VS and multiple malware scans but no problems.

Anyone know if it has something to do with the plugin before I disable it and monitor it for a week.

Not had the issue here, had the plugin installed for a couple of weeks now.

Yes, same with all the other youtube plugin.

Basically what is happening when, for example, you request keyword information on a video (the ranks). The plugin sends multiple fast requests to the youtube server to gather the video rank. So every time you do this youtube may think you are a bot since you're requesting information so fast in such a way impossible for humans.

Think of it like this example, a video has 8 tags. When you click on the video you see those tags and you search every individual tag for what place the video ranks. This takes 3-8 minutes or so depending on the ranking of the video.
Vidiq goes through that process too, but then within 5 seconds.

I get those captchas too.

OMFG ! i have this problem and i thought someone was hacking me LMFAOOO! i'm using vidIQ so yeah i think now it is the reason why i have to fill in captcha everytime when i search on google

vidIQ searches all the tags of a video you are watching on youtube to give you ranks of the video for each, only gives rank if its on top 10.

I know what the plugin does I'm just figuring it out if it's the cause when I google something I get these messages of unusual traffic every now and then.

Oh I didn't know that this was already happening and that too because of vidIQ (was not 100% sure until I uninstalled the plugin). That's why I created this thread..

The format that they're making a query is not related to keyword I think.

Even it make queries when I'm not using the plugin and simply browsing YouTube.
