my bet:
1. dont know who has stronger links, could be you, but surely #1 has more RELATED links from long term sites in that niche
2. #1 is longer in the niche than you, all his links are older than yours
3. #1 has PERFECT bounce rate,time on site, query termination.

Build another 1 or 2 pyramid links, and wait after 3 weeks.

My keywords have been stuck at #9 -#16 for months.
I did everything I could for these keywords:
- Build web2.0s and PBN to it.
- Guest post and editoral on relevant niche site (real outreach, site with real traffic not PBN).
- Optimized On-page
- Post relevant content for internal linking

And they just dont move an inch. Kinda frustrated, would love to hear some feedbacks to get unstuck.

try to add some high quality pbn links to homepage (TF 20+) and use only brand anchor

*Update on what I did recently*
- Using TextOptimizer.com to add relevant content to the existing pages. (Managed to increase them to 95% -> 100% score)
- Add 3 - 5 supporting articles for internal linking to each keyword.
- Manually build 15 web 2.0s on different unique platforms and point link to Homepage. Ordered Tier 2 links from @lover to these web 2.0s as well. (Using Brand & generic anchors only). I'm planning to build more as there are other platforms that I havent used yet.
- Prepare/ Outreach for Expert Roundup to gain some potential links.
- Hoping it can increase the ranking.
