is quite a daunting task for all those who have little knowledge regarding this technical concept.

However, giving up should not be an option for you because you can get hold of several free and paid SEO tools.

The real tactic is to get your hands on those tools that can actually improve the ranking of your site.

To make this quest easy, we will give you a guideline regarding the best tools that you can choose.

Selecting the Best Free and Paid SEO Tools
Kwfinder

Well, we personally appreciate this tool because it is immensely user-friendly.

It helps you dig down the best long tail keywords.

Visit the site of Kwfinder and simply enter your keyword to get hold of related long tail keywords.

The best part is that SEO difficulty level will also be displayed on the screen. To top it all, you do not need to pay a dime for this tool.

SEOquake

This is a free plugin.

It offers you the most useful SEO metrics.

SEOquake can easily analyze the difficulty level of a specific keyword. This tool can easily conduct the audit of your website as well. This audit also helps to check out the mobile compatibility of your site.

You can even check your Google+ and Facebook statistics using SEOquake.

MajesticSEO

Now, this is a paid tool.

However, you can try it out for free first. Sounds good, right?

This is an effective tool for link building. Visit the website of MajesticSEO, and you will be required to enter search phrase or URL.

The search results will display the link volume, link quality, and trust flow.

Google Page Speed Tools

A slow website can cause havoc.

The biggest issue with slow websites is that they discourage potential visitors. As a result, you can lose your conversions. Google Page Speed Tools can help you resolve this issue. This tool helps you to figure out ways through which you can increase the speed of your site.

Google Page Speed Tools also helps to make your site more mobile friendly. The best part is that it can optimize your site automatically.

This tool offers a combination of paid and free options.

Yoast SEO

Well, Yoast SEO is undoubtedly the best Wordpress plugin. It can easily improve the overall search engine optimization of your site.

The best part is using this plugin makes it easier for you to write better content as well. This plugin compels you to state a focus keyword.

It is mandatory to use this focus keyword throughout the article.

It is recommended that you go for the premium Yoast SEO plugin. The reason is that you get many extra features when you go for the premium version.

Now it is up to you to go for which ever tool you prefer. The key to benefiting from these tools is to explore them first. Select a tool only after developing a detailed understanding. This way your site is bound to benefit in the long run.

I'd add LongTail Pro to the list for keyword research, and Keyword Spy. Both great.

Except Majestic, I use all of these. I prefer SEMRush for paid tools. Good list, thanks!

I would replace KwFinder and Majestic with ahrefs anytime anyday :D

Am using Yoast SEO plugin. This is much useful for my keyword focusing on the content

To top it all, you do not need to pay a dime for this tool.

KWfinder is free up till 3 searches each 24 hour, not completely. Since last friday (25 august) they almost doubled their prices as well. Good tool tho even with 3 searches each 24h.

also I will add these great SEO Tools - SemRush, Moz and Ahref

Ahrefs is hands down the best tool for keyword research and analyzing links. They have the best database of information and update it the quickest. The only downside is they are kind of expensive.

You can replace all of those with Ahrefs plus using it as a rank tracker

I really like sitebulb. It's a new tool in beta but is fantastic for technical on-site stuff.

I have to agree with others. You can do a lot of powerful things with Ahrefs that your competitors wont think of. This tool is LIMITLESS. You can check any domain to the core with it. But pricy.

For page speed id recommend gtmetrix and pagespeed google insights +wp rocket + cloudflare + fast velocity minify (better than just with wp rocket) + imagify.

for seo well configured yoast.

I use ahrefs a lot but serpstat is better for daily serp tracking and ahrefs is naff at kw difficulty, kwfinder is much better. Ahrefs does everything else extremely well.
