Litecoin boom coming

Just HODL! I'm down 40% on siacoin but I'm still hodling it cause it's a great concept with a good team and they already have a working product. 1 day with good news is enough for it to skyrocket.
I bought it from btcdirect.eu there are tons of other websites where you can buy it as well.

okay, thanks mate. I will get one from there :)

I don`t like LTC because of small profit margins...with all the fus about atomic swaps and everything it only gained few $ and will start to drop again soon.

Litecoin has increased more than 1200% this year already and it still keeps soaring. The atomic swap talks have been going on since 2016 lol this was just an update. Once they announce the real implementation the value will easily increase 2x or even 3x

like I was saying....50$ and dropping...LTC has no real world application.

It is stabilizing around 50 dollars now... No real world application? Lol it is much faster than BTC and you can transfer your coins with a fee less than 1 cent. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin are the big 3 who are guaranteed to be useful

This is usually wishful thinking. You invested in it so you praise it. Its hard to detach yourself from such biased thinking. Are you really denying that BTC is 100x more popular than LTC? Or even 1000x? How many customers would a store get offering LTC?

All of us are just guessing. The adoption is still in its very early stages. First mover advantage is a real thing, but it's not the only thing. There might be something newer and better in the near future. None of us knows. We also don't know what the main part of the bell curve will want. As cool as it is being an early adopter, it's the people standing in line at Walmart who will determine the winners and losers in crypto, if they allow crypto to win at all.

The best thing any of us can do is diversify as much as possible and not fall in love with any one coin. On a lighter note, I think we can all agree that Dogecoin will overtake Bitcoin in the next month or two.

Everything about crypto is wishful thinking... And yeah I invested in it cause I read about and so far I haven't had any negative experience with LTC. When did I say that BTC isn't more popular than LTC?

I had a negative experience with VERI so I sold it, despite making 50% loss. When a coin is shit I will admit it is shit, but LTC is not shit. LTC is the second oldest top performing crypto (only behind Bitcoin)

Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum are the best & trusted assets.

Once I made my profits from other altcoins / ico, I will keep / store them in BTC/LTC/ETH.

except from being a cheaper and faster bridge for moving cryptos......can u name another real world application?

Are we trying to justify its existence? As a currency, that seems to be the biggest application a coin could possibly have. This niche concept where every coin has a very specific use case, I don't think is truly sustainable.

Will the average person really want to convert their BTC or LTC to buy a Whopper with Whoppercoin? I very well could be wrong, but I just don't picture that being a functional model for everyday transactions.

Moving on, there are around 180 different officially recognized currencies, and the world operates fine. Many people make their living swapping between currencies, Forex. I think that alone is enough proof to demonstrate that there is enough room in the world for a number of BTC alternatives, simply so people can arbitrage them.

I can appreciate your preference for BTC, I don't think anyone here would dispute its status as the king of cryptos, but to act like it's the only one that can operate in the capacity as a true currency I don't think is based in reality. So long as there are people trading between currencies and platforms for a living, there will be alternatives to BTC. Whether LTC is one of them, I don't know, but it has a good head start on many others and yes, traders do like lower fees and speed.

Litecoin seems to be holding around $60 for now this week. Yall think its gonna stay here? I luckly bought this when it was in the 40's range and sold some for some profit at 60 this week.

The new tech will be implemented within the next 2 months I believe, so I'm expecting it to hit 3 figures within the next 2 months.

so sad. my friend gifted me 20 LTC around 2012
held it in BTC-E . then BTC-e got raided and coins went bye bye.
hope nothing bad happens to polo/bittrex :)
really should get a hardware wallet set up

I am in Litecoin for a couple of months with a nice 40% profit for now. I think that $100 target is possible with september usually bullish but as any market october is scary

LTC has broken through the 70 dollar cap, 100 coming soon

The market cap isn't even 4 billion dollars yet, there's plenty room for growth... I've been following this coin for 3 months and from everything I've read so far I believe it will definitely hit 4 figures within 1-2 years
