Hello guys!

I was a little bit dissappointed with CPA and now I'll tell you why (also would like to hear YOUR thoughts).

As a perfectionist to some extent I'm very worried of what the user (victim :) ) will experience during the entire process of completion the CPA offer.

Why?

Let's say we have a niche, which is not really big, but which we can dominate and is not really competitive. That means, that same person will come back to you time to time.

We content lock some stuff and we are open to give it for free, if the person completes the CPA offer. If the person will NOT receive anything, would he fall into our "trap" again?

NO! Never.

And that is what we need, if we want to squeeze out everything out of the niche and move on to the next. I mean, we need people to receive what they were after, when they complete the offer (at least in this case).

By the way, any offer I have tried to complete myself, was really NOT user friendly. It's something not really comfortable to go through, haha.

That's one of the reasons I don't like CPA, but not the worst.

If there's like 10k persons/month that are interested in your stuff, you could earn some cash if you would give them different things multiple times. If after the first "giveaway" they won't get anything, this is a lose... I guess you understand what I mean, guys? :)

Why am I talking about this in such manner? Just because I've tried to complete the offers I provide to my "victims" a couple of times, so I can see that everything is fine and they will REALLY get what they are after, and I didn't get anything after completion (if I even managed to complete it), NOT A SINGLE TIME! It was different stuff: URL redirect, javascript function call, etc.

For me, it looks too scammy (some sort of those fake cleaner apps/etc), and it actually turns out scammy for me.

It looks cool in words, but not in reality.

I tried like 2 or 3 different CPA networks. And they all were the same... The CPA networks are not bad and that's not a secret which networks I tried: CPAGrip/OGAds/some other I don't remember.

Do I miss something? Or is it meant to be scammy?

Anyway, I'd like to listen to your thoughts about this, I am really interested.

And also, even more important, if you would have to choose something instead of CPA offers - what would you go after?

Thanks!

I've been doing CPA for a long time, and started back few weeks ago again. My first experience was in 2010 with Game Rewards and people were happy to complete offers and get their coins.
You shouldn't really complete your own offers because they will never unlock (because the network you work with knows that it is your ip, it will never accept the conversion) and might result in a ban. Did you setup everything correctly? You have a choice to give or not to give the user what he expects to, it is up to you.

I'm a developer myself and I know all this stuff :) I also track my offers like you do (at least you mentioned that), so I would see if something would happen on completion... Got 2 convertions yesterday and nothing happened on my server, so I can say... Those guys didn't receive anything :/

Oh, are you also using OGAds postback url and it is not working? I've tried to contact my AM but no response yet.

yes, and it's not the only thing which was not working and also not the only network. :)

this is a little bit strange, maybe their tracking algorithms are not that good.

Yes, I also get some kind of indicator that I got some clicks from US but when I hover on the area, I see that I got 0 clicks

But I see people making crazy money with OGAds and similar networks so it's really weird. Did you also use captcha locker?

nope, I used a simple file locker

I disagree with your line "All CPA networks are same"

The problem is where you are driving the traffic. To get decent payouts, you need Tier 1 geos (US, CA, UK, FR, DE, ES, IT)

didn't say they ALL are the same. I mean all between those I have mentioned.

I even didn't say that these are bad :) but I had poor experience in this particular case and I'm trying to find out what's going on. don't get me wrong.

For what? I'm talking about the CPA content locker functionality. Topic is not about the payouts or smth. :)

I've switched from captcha locker to content locker and postback URL still doesn't get requested. How comes nobody noticed that beside us?
I've got this problem only on OGAds.

Another update: I've finally resolved my problem with Postback URL. The issue was that I expected {offer_id} to be an integer instead it is a md5 hash (32 characters) so no row was added to my database. If anyone needs help with OGAds postback url, I'll be glad to help.

Hey man, I am trying to implement postback url gor og ads and I was wondering if you could help me. Thanks in advance.

Surely I have always avoided the incent scene and never took it that serious but you have a point here give the users what they are signing or filling the information for but sadly with incent it has always been like that and considering advertisers are happy with it, you cannot really do anything :(

I am thinking of getting into incent soon via the Yt route so let's see how it fares for me :)
