Hello there,

I see so many services on this site offering prebuilt "cash generating" websites. AdSense, Amazon Affiliate, CPC sites etc. I am curious as to how well these sites actually perform over time.

I'm certain that the services offered here do in fact produce a site of high quality with decent keywords and a high enough search volume. However, I'm anxious as to why they would give this potential cash cow away for such a little price?

Would any one like to share their experience with a prebuilt affiliate website, or explain why it's better to quickly build and sell rather than build and nurture such a site for all it has to give?

From talking with several seller on here and attempting to use one of the services, the big hitch in the whole thing is that you have to promote the website. As far as I have seen, none of the services provide a website with backlinks or any authority. So it is up to you to get it to the front page. I believe alot of these are made from some autogenerating WP themes (there is an amazon one I used to use that was pretty cool and imported everything for you and all you had to do was add the ASINs)

Either way excited for some replies.
 
If it's like everything else in the SEO world it probably highly depends on how you leverage it after buying in. Buying into a "cash generating site" and having to do literally NOTHING but rake in the cash seems highly doubtful. I can see needing on-going SEO and/or other promotional work being required for good success.

Thanks for the inclusion. As with anything I think the benefits depend on a combination of your personal goals, budget, and effort. As the designer, we can build you a site that is ready to go but as the owner you are responsible for the marketing and growth. You will need to promote the site however you see fit and continue to grow your content as you go.

I can tell you that for our service, we do use a theme like most wordpress sites but it's not a amazon or other niche specialized theme. It allows me to start with a base and customize each site to be unique.

Ultimately the biggest factor is creating rankable, shareable, and unique content. I know some people supposedly have had success with spinners but I won't touch them. So for us, we spend most of our efforts on keyword research, SEO optimization, site performance, and custom written content creation.

Hopefully that helps some.

Exactly true. There is no magic wand. Basically when you are buying a site, you are leveraging the designed technical experience to have a site ready to go. If you are starting from scratch and learning you will spend a massive amount of time learning and adjusting. Nobody is going to sell you the winning lottery ticket for $30.

Good idea tagging some of the sellers that offer these services; I would have felt cheeky doing that myself, as I'm new here.

So from the sellers point of view they are receiving a guaranteed sale in the form of cash, as opposed to putting in extra effort once the site has been made - which may or may not make a single penny.

I suppose this suggests that even the best designed website with all the right metrics could still fail?

Yes, nobody can guarantee success or how quickly to expect results. Every site is really its own unique experience since things are always changing. Back in the day, it used to be easy. build your site, use your keywords a lot and submit it. Now you have to pay much more attention to site performance, content structure, finding the right keywords to target, etc. And that isn't even enough. Offsite SEO is just as important and they have to work together to get good rankings.
 
I'm sure none of the other sellers are commenting, because they're too busy building profitable websites, for pennies on the dollar... :rolleyes: ... I wouldn't expect anything less from a puppymill...

I made an order from Keywordspot a few months ago, the first time it made a sale, it got banned. I lost some money. It took them 3 weeks to fix the website. I lost a lot on that, as I have barely made any sales after what happened!

Also I just made an order on Jackteam, curious to see if it provides me with better quality.
 
A few years ago I needed an addition for my home. I needed a 300 square foot room added in order to create a 4th bedroom.

We had a few different guys come out and give us estimates and we talked with them about their business and got some of their references.

We decided on one guy and he went about his business and did a terrific job.

When he was done I asked him why he did not build houses and sell them as he did very good work.

His response was, "I'm a builder not a developer because I like to build."

Same goes for the sellers in the marketplace that offer services... they offer services as that is what they like to do.

Calling them "faux" is a little unfair as each of us have things we like to do and things we don't care to do.
 
Why are sellers allowed to use words "passive income" in their thread headlines, if it's not passive?
I mean everybody who is around for a while, knows how things really work, but when a newbie comes across such promise, it is misleading.
 
It's disappointing that out of the sixteen people tagged into this thread, only one person showed up to give a response. Luckily, @NicheFox did a solid enough job to make up for the lack of participation.

This is soo true. I just like building and researching sites. It is just fun for me. I've never enjoyed the marketing part.

I think that is the point. It just attracts a person's interest.

You could potential get setup to where it can become for the most part passive but the odds of achieving that in a year or two for a novice is probably a fantasy. It takes time, patience, and consistency but it can pay off. That's why to me it is important to really enjoy your chosen niche. I really enjoy and improving my product and I enjoy getting to learn about a lot of different things. SO my niche business is the perfect niche for me and I spend a lot of time learning, improving , and tweaking my product and sites. You really need that kind of passion.

I ordered some sites previously too. It was a decent site I guess. It doesn't look like a site that would rank. I paid around 100 for that lol
 
As NicheFox already said, no one is going to give you a golden goose for 29.99 and on top of that being able to sustain such successful deliveries for unlimited number of buyers.
Sites are there only to save you some time so if you earn 20-30-60 USD/hour you don't need to spend an hour or two making and tweaking the site .

ROI on its own, without any additional work...probably 0%.
