Anyone here ever got or know someone who has gotten less than $0.01 Adwords clicks?
I've gotten less than $0.01 FB ad clicks, for example targeting cheap countries and having extremely relevant ads which get a ton of clicks..
Some people even get $0.0004 per click on FB ads (that's 3 zeros and I've seen it done before)..
Long ago I had a display network campaign that got like 50,000 impressions and about 450 clicks. My average CPC was $0.03. I was bidding for impressions and had a CPM of like $0.80, which I guessed that Adwords only charged me for impressions and didn't give a shit how many clicks within that CPM range I got as display campaigns + CPM bidding are meant for 'awareness'..
I didn't get the chance to optimise it but I was guessing that I just need to drastically increase my CTR in order for my CPC to reduce right? Increasing CTR can be easily done by making it clickbait + using trends etc..
So lets say I bid for impressions with a CPM bid of $0.90 which basically means that it's up to me to optimise enough to try get a shit ton of clicks every 1000 impressions, and if within 50,000 adwords impressions I made my ad extremely relevant/clickbaity which get CTRs of lets say 20% lol, leaving me with 10,000 clicks within 50,000 impressions..
So that means with an adspend of $45 which gives 50,000 impressions from a $0.90 CPM bid & 10,000 clicks from a 20% CTR & CPC of $0.0045?
