As Google is getting smarter and smarter, many of our old ways of doing SEO are becoming obsolete. Things are getting a lot more focused on quality and a lot less on quantity, and that's a fact. If you think caring about keyword densities is gonna keep you in the game for long, you're wrong. It won't be long until everyone realizes that density will be somewhere next to EMDs on the list of irrelevant SEO shit.

Google no longer cares how many times you mention a word on your page. It now tries to understand what they're about in order to show to most relevant results. This is why keyword relevance is important and plays a major role nowadays; and not many of us are actually figuring that out.

Anyway, a couple months ago a friend introduced me to a tool called TextOptimizer that he saw on a banner on BHW somewhere (I'm in no way affiliated to them, and have never even paid to use their service). I found the thread the creator @fmartin made back in February https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/beta-tester-textoptimizer.917020/

He really should have gotten a lot more attention than he did. I'm definitely not an expert in this, so to quote him, this tool "produces SEO redactional recos, based on semantic analysis. Basically, the tool extracts intent tables from SE results, and measures related topics in your text."

Long story short, after a couple months of using it, my understanding of it is that is scans the top results and creates a list of common terms that appear, while comparing your page/text to them. It then gives you the terms that the top results have and you don't - making them relevant, and your site irrelevant.

Anyway, I was pretty hesitant that it would do anything but decided to give it a shot. So, I went ahead and dug up one of my old high-commission CPA offer sites that was dyeing out. I put the URL into textoptimizer, and my optimization score was somewhere right under 50% if I remember correctly. I probably spent like an hour playing with that bitch and got it up to 96% (it woudn't go to 100 for some reason).

Here's the twist - don't fucking wait for indexing. I found the WMT account I used for this site and went ahead to fetch the page right away. Both of these keywords are targeted on the homepage. I clicked Fetch and Render, requested indexing and left it. I checked back a few hours later, updated the ranks on SerpBook and saw this:

JhDXo6F

Dug up that picture from a gyazo I shared with my friend just to brag about the results. All I did was add a couple dozen words to the page, wherever it made sense to do so, and then requested indexing. It isn't rocket science. The 32 spot rise eventually went back down a couple days later, but it was still 10 spots or so higher than it initially was. You may need to wait longer to actually see results though, the indexing thing doesn't always work within hours.

This is a SUPER competitive niche and I put a lot of money in links for this site back in the day. It made profit then, but I eventually started working on other projects and abandoned this one. By optimizing the text and then requesting indexing though, it is certain that this site's ranks improved JUST because of this. They're still around there actually, dancing a couple of spots up and down.

My guess is that this looks a lot more natural to Google - it just makes sense that someone who actually gives a shit about what they're writing and genuinely tris to help the reader out will rank better. Only thing is, blackhatters can obviously also optimize for that in order to fake that natural relevancy.

This may be old news to some, but it was definitely new to me when I first tried it. It still works quite well. No SEO plugin will tell you how to optimize for something like this, so you might want to give it a try :)

Just scanned a random post of my website.

So you didn't do any linkbuilding on top of the optimization?

Nice little tool! Thanks for sharing this one boss. I have an older site I can try this on.

Just made changes to a page which had a score of 43% and bumped it up to 81%.

Current SERP: 9 (has been for a while)

I'll be back with any changes.

Old news really, relevancy has been around since Google was first founded, its importance has only gone up with times, that's why you see me recommending that you put the same amount of work & attention in on-site SEO as you do in off-site/link building - the returns are great with minimal effort and zero expenses. Also, KD will always be important as it's one of the main factors related to relevancy as are LSI, related words, site topical relevance, etc...

^^^

OP and what do you think that those few added keywords did? They improved your density. Density is not just how many times a particular keyword is in your text, but much more than that. Exactly what @THUNDERELVI said. But that was explained to you in a different thread of yours already.

Onpage changes usually show quick :)
Knew most of it, but the tool really makes it easy.
I was actually checking tons of tools like LSIgraph for getting LSI words, but this one is one of the best.

OP, relevance is certainly a big advantage, but I see that you continue to be fixated against keyword density. By doing so you will be misleading newbies and inexperienced about something that is actually important.

Let me clear this:
So this tool doesnt show nothing besides which more keywords should I add and remove from the text?

But why the fuck shows it 43% optimization for a page where I should only add a cuple of keywords to increase?
And why showing 100% for a page where I should add and remove also a ton of them?

I wish this could be that easy...

*shrugs* ranking 2nd for a term but it says I'm only 37% optimized :(.

Ok then. I gave it a try...
Just optimized a page that has been sitting on the #4 in Serp for months. (The page was on #1 at the end of 2016)
I have been stuggling with this kw this year. Even my 6 'private' pbn kickass backlink couldnt bump that back on top.
The optimizaition percentage went from 38% ----> to 90%.

Now I think its time to sit back and wait for money, love, sex, and magic.

Really curious what results you get!

Hi,

Here are lexical fields as extracted from Google snippets selections for query search: Get

Same, but for Yahoo:

Google & Yahoo think their users expect something different on "Get" search.
So Google and Yahoo have a different "point of view" on "Get" squery search. This is => Table of intents.

Textoptimizer's job is to help you match tables of intents. (Math)

In the previous example, pleasing Google will be about talking more about social security card, and less about Ajax.
It just works, and here (France http://1.fr) a page is optimized about every 3 seconds (daytime).

The more your content match Google 's table of intents of a query, the more your content could be considered as pertinent by Google. => increase in ranking.

A few more infos: https://textoptimizer.com/h

Increase in ranking usually takes place 5 weeks (average) after changes.
Doing keyword stuffing will hurt your ranking. Try to write wiki like sentences (long, diversified verbs...).

So I read this thread two days ago and moved my optimization from 50% to 80%. Obviously correlation doesn't equal causation but, I went from rank 11 to 8 in these two days. Informative thread, cool tool!
