Yes Youtube will once again delete videos and then suspend accounts over this. do not take this risk. you might get lucky once. but YT just up'd their antie again last week.
re: how does YT know question - the new YT view tally algorithm depends on a total combination of:
unique hits versus non-unique hits, hi-traffic IP (spam) hits versus non-high traffic IP hits, randomness of length of variation between hits (delay), randomness of length of hits once landed on video (video view lengths), hits with YT navigation cookies available or UNIQUE refferer info intact vs. total blind hits
Now you can get away with seriously imbalanced view stats on 1 of these factors sometimes, but any one of these factors stepping out of YT considered 'norms' and your flagged and your video is frozen.
If it is obvious, your video is deleted and if you repeat, you get your account suspended - maybe not the second time - BUT QUICKLY
