Great job mate. Glad to see you enjoying itMay I ask where you post your links to get your traffic? It's cool if you don't wana answer.
Yeah sure, I'll even give you a breakdown of my page layouts to help out even more. Here's the layout of my site:
Title
Hook
Quick features list
Quick impressions list
1st photo
More info
Continued more info (I do this because it is recommended to have less than 300 words per header and this looks totally natural)
2nd photo
Likes
Dislikes
3rd photo
Bottom line
Check out product here button
4th photo
5th photo
6th photo
Check out product here button
So that is the layout that I use with every post. I use the theme MH-Magazine which is amazing cause it throws in a bunch of extra random shit that just makes the page look a bit better.
Now here is what I do in terms of linking (Amazon affiliate). Each one of the photos are linked to take the browser to the product, that's already 6 links on the post. This is also smart because many "old time" internet users are likely to click on pictures. Next I add links to my two product buttons, this is obvious why.
That brings us to a total of 8 outbound links per post. Awesome. Additionally, don't forget to throw in a couple inbound links, here's an example.
Imagine you're selling hairdryers. "The new hairdryer-x comes with 3 buttons for speed control. Want even more speed control? Check out hairdryer-y for 6 buttons capable of speed control!"
Kind of a shitty example, but you get the idea. The "hairdryer-y" text gets linked to that page. This is a ridiculously overlooked concept that - while not increasing site traffic, will increase page views tremendously.
Don't believe me? Go to Wikipedia and search up BHW. Then count how many links they have pointing to other pages. Then scroll to the very bottom and count the number of links there citing sources.
Anyways, to answer your final question and why I went through all this trouble of explaining that shit ^ is because if your site and social media are working WITH each other rather than separately, it works like magic!!
Here's the whole idea. Remember how I said I've already thrown in 6 images into my post. Before uploading those 6 images, I always drag them into Photoshop, add a quick filter, and they look twice as good. Good images = good social media business.
Then I head on over to the socials. I have a Tumblr, Twitter, Google plus, and Pinterest. On Tumblr I post all 6 images individually and queue them. On each image I include the source (My site) where the image came from. On Twitter I make 2 posts with 3 images each. Pinterest I just bunch all 6 together and since I have a business Pinterest account, they source my site automatically. Google plus is a gem, don't overlook it. It's currently my highest ranked influence for when you search my name on Google (First page actually).
All in all count this up. 6 Tumblr images, 6 Twitter, 6 GP, 6 Pinterest. That's 24 links back to my site per post!
I'm sure you understand the basic concepts of SEO and link building and not to overdo it. More backlinks does not always mean better. And to be honest, doing this process once per post is more than enough, at least in my opinion.
And also, Mark Zuckerberg can kiss my ass.
Anyways lol, I hope this will help to boost your UV's a bit further Dayloco and to anyone looking to utilize my system.
