I think a better course of action for them is to not charge users who already bought the license and just charge people who will buy it once they implement their subscribtion model.

I think this is why they aren't doing that - because sales must have dropped, hence why they're looking for another income stream.

This is definitely a dishonor to their service. What they could have done if things are getting so tough for them is to make the subscription model be valid only for those who purchase the software from them from this point and on, while for previous clients they should have kept their promises.
Actually, I really doubt that they are facing any financial hardships. The opposite, now that their competition is down (since many other similar services had been hit recently) they try to take advantage of the situation.
VERY very disappointed from this situation... If by the end of the month they don't reconsider, I am requesting a refund from PayPal too

These were the same people that didn't allow a refund if unhappy with the service as their 'rules' stated so. Now that the service is monthly, I don't want to use the lifetime service which doesn't make sense anymore, so I'll refund that and perhaps not use the monthly service ever.

When I first bought this, I thought of it as an investment. At the time I did not have any idea how to make money with this tool, but I bought it because it was lifetime and thought that I have enough time to experiment with it. Till now, I did not make my money back from this investment. Downgrading my subscription to monthly, will make me request a refund.

Contact them for a refund. If they don't fork it over, submit a SL and let the mods handle it.
You paid for a lifetime service. You're not getting it.

There are exceptions to everything. If they think that since the dispute deadline is over there will be no chance of dispute, they planned it wrong.

I feel scared that they will win somehow and remove my licence as I am really bad is disputes etc. Will wait for other people in the same situation and see what happens to them.

I no longer rely on FL, but that's besides the point. I've also recently had requests from the Facebook Like Jacker app at fblikejacker[dot]in ignored, who are on here - having money in credit, yet their plugin no longer working.
