Is Blackhat SEO dying out? [Serious]

For me blackhat has always been more than just doing mass links or PBN's.

To me, blackhat is about testing the boundrys of everything that we do as SEO's. Taking the webmaster guidelines and pushing those to the limits. Testing.

Some of the best SEO's in the world come from blackhat backgrounds because they are testers, and testers win.

Is Google going to eliminate organic? I doubt it, consumers will move to other platforms if they do that, however that organic number on listing will get a little less traffic for buyer terms.

It's ok though, because they seem to leaving the information terms alone and if you can just use those to get people to your site then retargeting takes care of the rest.

SEO takes skill, time & then investment in order to actually make a living from it. Sure, all the noobs here expecting to throw up a shitty blog and click a few buttons for profit are dead. I've made literally tens of thousands from pure BHSEO from 2007 to now though. So no, it's not dead. It's just harder, as if life as the years go on. Adapt or die, as is life.

That's what i meant, but people also forget this factor "You need to spent to make it Big" Simply Money brings more money if you have the right thinking and the right skills, its just adapting as was said before that, its not become harder nor impossible in anyway, they want us to think so!

I remember this same conversation about how seo was "gonna be just a luxury" and "now I'm recommending optimised adword packages to my clients"on forums like these what? five years ago maybe longer, all it proves is those were the same noddies back then, here now. I came for one decent answer got? all but a noddy telling me how brilliant he was cause hes made the VAT threshold from pbns and I should pay him for the answer - lol what the? you come to a black hat forum for what - waste time?, the bottom feeding, grinding seo type - you have to laugh when the standard to measure yourself by is the VAT threshold. @MisterF

Well personally my first SEO success was with SENuke back in the day which I found on this forum, I still come here because the experts among us have their finger on the pulse and it's a great way to ensure you are up to date with any new variations on decent strategies.

You asked for a decent answer, the decent answer is "no". I'm guessing you are only interested in people who agree with you though, so please do believe those that say it is dead.

And to add to that, I don't think there's ever been a better time to be in seo myself, sure competitions gone way up in the last 15 years, from a quality perspective, and tactics, but most reasonable niches can still be achievedwith good hardwork and sensible strategy.

Check this out. We created a new site, was organically ranking, not masses of traffic but good quality traffic and generating leads. The domain was a year old, so its taken some time to rank. Anyway, we decided to do some AdWords, check out the analytics below. As soon as this site was exposed to AdWords, the organic rankings dropped. Clear as ever.

So yes, I reckon the days are numbered for SEO with Google as we know it now, until the dominance of Google changes. Until then, its using other methods, Google isn't everything!

Correlation doesn't equal causation. These are two completely separate departments within Google, who do not communicate on this level. Your paid campaigns would have no bearing on your SEO campaign and vice versa. This is pure coincidence, as there was some kind of update/devalue/link decay right when you started your paid campaigns.

I've got an honest question, you don't have to answer it to me but answer it to yourself. Have you ever seen a website to even say 5k$ usd traffic value on semrush? I cannot believe you have when you show me a month of data and tell me google isn't everything however conclusive it looks. My business would be crippled without google organic, I'd be finished.
