How quaint.

Another commoner fails at BHSEO and assumes it is thus dead, even though they are surrounded by those that claim success. Personally I have been shafting Google in a variety of niches for a very long time now, you can't just read a guide written by some asshat and assume that by repeating it word for word you will get results. By the time you have read that guide so have a million other fools and the original writer only published it because he himself had milked it of all it's worth to the point it's only value was some "likes" in a forum or 30 dorrah as a paid "TOP 10 RANKS IN 20 SECOND" tutorial.

Here you even get guides that say, post a job on freelancer asking for X, here is a template. If you google for the content of that template you find literally hundreds of retards copy and pasting that request into freelancer. Copying a guide DOES NOT WORK.

Everything works but requires a unique spin on anything you read about otherwise you are creating the very patterns Google is so good at detecting. You have to test and fail countless times before making anything work but this isn't new, it's always been the case. I build 20 sites before I ranked one and have built hundreds since. So don't expect anything to be quick or simple, life isn't like that.

no, we can make a lot profit while page one
and blackhatworld make it easy

In my opinion blackhat seo is already dead. You cant just generate 4000pages website with script, fire xrumer and get thousands of clicks week later.
You can if you know how, but many people are just too stupid. Of course blasting default hrumer lists will not work. Getting your own list and train hrumer properly you can get generated sites ranked still. Just cause you can't doesn't mean it does not work dork.

Is it dying? Maybe. But, perhaps after the BlackHat SEO will be a corpse, something else will appear. If Google changes the way they operate (switching from links being the mainstream to something else), then a newborn "BlackHat" will arise.

Think of parasites: there are still undiscovered parasites that people can use to rank. What happens if Google restricts all of them from ranking just like they did with Facebook/Amazon etc. (the conventional ones)? No parasites will be ranking, exactly. But, then again if they'd do the same with every single one out there, then they may cause problems for the user base.

There's a physical limit to how much you can attain, however, there are still tons and tons of things to do before that limit has been reached. Not to mention that they cannot tighten the game too much, or the "whitehat" and perhaps the user experience might be affected as well.

In the case of Facebook, for example, they restrict the actions enough to not affect the average user and perhaps a power user. Facebook is then forced to take manual actions which is much much difficult and unreliable.

In conclusion: blackhat is exploiting something, and those exploits can be covered; however, when you cover a hole, you may create another 2. For now, don't give a shit about this "BH is dead" thing. Don't believe me? Look on some of the sites ranking first page.

People must just do it by trial and error when it comes to ranking in google..Obviously you should have your own PRIVATE (NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT IT!!! Duh!) PBN network..

I think people who have discovered how to rank their sites high in google serps will not be foolish enough to share how they did it on BHW..or even SELL that method!! Duh! Google monitors EVERYTHING! Here also.. Duh! You have to develop YOUR OWN blackhat method.. and hide it like a pile of GOLD..bcoz that is what it is!!!!
People use the grey theme on black hat and that blue colour is illegible on this theme.

All the best.

Google is just trying to weed out those who are serious in the game. No more spammy links. Only those who work and spend to get great backlinks win in the long term.

I think BLACKHAT SEO is not dying. But Google updates every time now. That's why we can't take any result from BLACKHAT SEO.

SEO market is growing faster. It may take time to adapt but definitely blackhat is there .

Everything is there and adapting by the time. A bit of blackhat, a bit of whitehat, some local seo and all mixed will bring results IF the service/product is valuated from buyers/users for being on first page. Ofcourse we must not forget the concurrence and the methods they are going to use for kicking your service/product back in anonymity using all above methods for negative reviews ! After spending 15 years for learning new things, buying every well known seo backlink builder software, buying proxies, services, etc, I came to the conclusion that in any case you need a serious budget to play this game and more than 50%+ of profits generated - if any- must be re-invested on this direction, otherwise you loose your ground faster than you reached it! Google also use humans to detect abnormal behavior of fast growing websites and that can be a disaster for automated actions.

Sorry it took so long to chime in this thread. I was too busy making money with my SEO..

In all seriousness, I don't do a whole lot of Blackhat these days, because I like to invest in my projects and have long term growth and income. That being said, I do use some BH techniques with some parasite SEO and it definitely takes much more time to rank. From everything I track and everything I've read, it seems as though Google intentionally takes their time with new websites or website's, which have never been SEOed. They know that Blachat SEOs are inherently impatient and lazy (for the most part), so it's a great counter punch. Not saying you can't speed it up, but the days of hyper-targeting keywords and ranking within 30 days are pretty much over. Honestly, I'm ok with it. Weeds out the competition:)

MAYBE blackhat SEO APPEARS to be dying because of how slow ranking is now but with the right combination of whitehat with blackhat, and given enough time and content, a site can still rank as high as ever. You just have to put more effort into it. Believe me, successful blackhatters LOVE threads like these because it shows their competition is getting discouraged and bailing. My thought is, if you don't have enough time effort and money to set aside to develop a website for 6-12 months+ then you might as well not waste your time.

I attribute it mainly to growth of competition, but surely Google have made changes the past few years that went somewhat under the radar, yet had an impact on blackhat seo in particular. I rank some sites using at worst sponsored posts, and then some with scraping and blasting, and where both techniques used to work, this year I've seen the greyhat sites perform the same, while having all blackhat sites drop.

Guys, just because you can't spam / spin / copy-paste doesn't means that SEO aka Black/Grey/White SEO is Dying.
Pro PBN (real like) are still working and they do help with SERP ranks (still).

Game is over. If you are not covered by Big Media and a big investment, u don't have a chance.

I think the problem is too many networks are blown so buying links is getting harder and harder. But, pbns still work if you employ good practices no tracks no spammy stuff. The point is you need to be sole owner and beneficiary of your pbn if you are on a network that is offered to the public most likely it will be detected.

SEOs who know how to build and nurture their own networks will continue to rank. Of course, this is much easier said than done.

The real concern is how valuable will a first place ranking be in the future? Who cares if you can rank if Google hides you below layers of their own content. That is what is happening with most commercial terms. Especially local search terms where the maps listing takes up the entire page.

This is partly the reason why low comp keywords are still making money, because Google isn't really attacking those and they generally do not return any ads, maps listings, or other Google content.

Still profitable to rank for [sexy pink kitten socks] but less and less profitable to rank for [san diego dentist].

Nobody claims it isn't working, the problem is the time and money you need to invest to get some results for even low and mid-level keywords isn't worth the hassle anymore, you are better off just buying the traffic instead of waiting for 6 to 9 months for a first page ranking, spent thousands of hours and dollars plus the risks you have of losing it all after the next update,

I had a nice run, but for me it isn't worth the time and money anymore... Like, people said you need to evolve and I have, from the money i made with SEO i now buy traffic, it i cheaper, less time consuming and less stressful.

SEO cost way to much time and money to get rankings, if you have to wait 6/9 months to get a fresh project ranked on the first page for middle of the road keywords it just isn't worth it anymore

Blackhat SEO is not dead but it takes so much time and money that imho the resources (money and time) that you use can be put to better use, it just isn't worth doing anymore.

I quite with BH SEO a view months back sold off everything, and it is a step that i wished i had taken years ago, now i buy the traffic it is so much better then fighting the search engines and if you know what you're doing it is sooooooooooooo much cheaper too.

SEO is just not worth the hassle anymore...

This is an honest answer from someone who knows SEO.

I still know people successfull with pbns...If u do it carefully and properly. But yes...its getting harder....

It is a serious question, is BLACKHAT SEO dying out slowly? Since begining of this year (2017) its taking even longer than before to see the impact of backlinks and mostly the alghoritms catch up on everything, I'm serious, buying links still works but you have to spend so much $$$ to even move and to get to top 5 is costing enormous amounts of money (for medium - low competition keywords)

Seriously, even low comp keywords are taking soooo long to see any effect and its getting tougher and tougher soon it will come to the point that it will be too expensive to even move to 2nd page and not profitable anymore, which of course is the point of all this.

Google adwords taking so many spaces on 1st page that is it becoming ridicilous, seriously by end of 2018 BLACKHAT SEO might get too expensive except enormous agencies with clients with deep pockets.

What are your thought, seriously Im asking this, don't troll ffs.

Whitehat still works and will work in future, but earning some serious $$ is going to take you eternity.

Check this out. We created a new site, was organically ranking, not masses of traffic but good quality traffic and generating leads. The domain was a year old, so its taken some time to rank. Anyway, we decided to do some AdWords, check out the analytics below. As soon as this site was exposed to AdWords, the organic rankings dropped. Clear as ever.

So yes, I reckon the days are numbered for SEO with Google as we know it now, until the dominance of Google changes. Until then, its using other methods, Google isn't everything!
