Is Blackhat SEO dying out? [Serious]

SEO cost way to much time and money to get rankings, if you have to wait 6/9 months to get a fresh project ranked on the first page for middle of the road keywords it just isn't worth it anymore
Blackhat SEO is not dead but it takes so much time and money that imho the resources (money and time) that you use can be put to better use, it just isn't worth doing anymore.
I quite with BH SEO a view months back sold off everything, and it is a step that i wished i had taken years ago, now i buy the traffic it is so much better then fighting the search engines and if you know what you're doing it is sooooooooooooo much cheaper too.
SEO is just not worth the hassle anymore...

I remember back in 08 on this very same forum there were massive predictions on how black hat was getting harder, and it was going to jump the line to criminal, etc. . . . almost 10 years later, streets don't change but maybe the names.
Still. . . given enough time we'll all be robots, so in answer to the question yes black hat is dying, albeit slower than your fears. Perhaps you won't be here, but I bet I'll see some familiar names 10 years down the line.

always funny how whitehat SEOs try to make themselfs believe they are not trying to game the system, because they spam manually or beg for links.
as soon as you start optimizing your site for a search engine instead of humans, you are already trying to game the system trying to get an advantage over your competition.
then they run around and post manual comments, because they think that makes it any less spammy. if you would be really whitehat you would just "build great content without thinking about seo" according to google lol

SEO for me seems to have shifted more towards engagement and interaction. How many visitors are coming to your site and how they stay and bounce. of course backlinks are pushing the ranks but it is very very slow now. for what i consider as a simple term because my competitors are weak, i am now into my 3rd month and i just broke into the 2nd page. and my top 10 competitiors mainly got older sites with shitty links (so how long you are online also matters - age matters)
i think going forward, it is all about having a great site and getting some cheap related traffic for awarness and get them to come back using your brand identity. you cannot depend on just google or cpc (because it will get more and more expensive)

You see everything is just connected.What does whitehat seo even mean? not creating links yourself ?.. Now each site has to create more link than their competitors.No matter how good my content is no one is going to fucking link to best {insert your product} reviews.Which means I have to create links not naturally but by other means (which is blackhat).This is true for each and person on first page.There is no way google can abandon links which proves there is no way google can abandon blackhat seo.
Even If my site is tanked,the person on first position is still ranking on Blackhat!!!

In my opinion blackhat seo is already dead. You cant just generate 4000pages website with script, fire xrumer and get thousands of clicks week later.
