As fellows members said, its getting harder/expensive effort to get a decent rank.

It is not dying but definitely not as feasible as it was.

It was simply some easy links blasts or spammy PBNs to rank, now everything cost more, higher price for all sort domains. It can take a huge bite on your pockets easily just for buying quality domains, let alone building and sustaining it.

Yeah those people churning and burning 100s of high comp huge traffic casino keywords a few years ago must be gutted. Never mind the fact that the rev share is still probably fucking huge, or the fact they banked enough to retire, they obviously did it all wrong.

Probably because they destroyed small businesses of people just wanting to get by in life. So they could give their users a better quality experience by having Amazon, Trip Advisor and Yelp rammed down their fucking throats no matter what they searched.

You rank with the same Methodes like some years ago. But iam happy that something changed .... You cant rank in high comp. niches with low quality Services from the Marketplace ... When you still think a clickbait title with High Quality PBN posts available .--> ask your self "is it private when he sell this in a public Forum ? " The most Services are just here to earn Money with you .... When you still want to rank --> make your own PBN or buy from private sources... You can check some very saturated niches like "clash Royale hack" you will see a simple generator without backlicks and without content .. You ask why ? -- Strong Pbn blocked from robots... you can read so many guides and shit about keyword density , anchor text or some other shit .... you need nothing of this when you have some Strong links .... sorry for my bad english language .

Black hat isn't dead or dying.

As someone said prior, proper on-page and off-page, keep your PBN clean and private and everything takes care of itself. Competition is getting better, local SEO is still fairly easy.

Though it's getting harder if you're just buying links when everyone else around you is evolving. Stick to the roots, an all around game, and it's still great.
