Rewrite URLs because of tracking parameters

Hi there,

We've got some issue on our website due to long URLs with tracking parameters. We use a famous marketing automation tool that generates this lonng URL (we need them to track the user across our domains).

However from a UX prospective it doesn't look good and I wonder if a javascript code can hide or change the URL and what would be the impact on SEO?

Optimizing your URLs—by avoiding extraneous characters, using dashes, and adding appropriate keywords—can’t hurt your rankings.

However, there’s no need to focus too much of your marketing efforts on your URL structure because it doesn’t impact rankings as much as backlinks or content quality.

I'd tread lightly reading the content from @timothyc3r as he is now doing a lot of copy and pasting from old articles.
