whitehats: trying to pretend what they do is not spam, because they do it manually. gullible, believe in google being nice. sheep that follow the herd. usually less technical.
blackhats: accepting the fact that they spam in order to get better rankings or sell products. don't care about google ToS. usually more technical and creative to think outside of the box.
