From my experience , for newly created accounts , you will receive two kinds of PVA , one that will ask you for a number then once you put it , they ask you for another number instantly and the account is insta banned , I'm sure it's banned right when they ask you to PVA , it's just a step to make you lose a number.
And there's the other kind of PVA , this one asks for a verification message , you effectively receive the message and you verify your account without problem.
For the PVA itself : I found that aged accounts (1 year +) are better , most of my newly created account got pvaed insta banned , instagram are much more "lax" with aged accounts.
The number's country can be different , there's no problem (in my experience of course) but if you have access to numbers from the same country , use them.
Always warm up the new accounts manually then start botting (if you intend to) , much less chance to get banned that way.
Any question , don't hesitate.
Good luck
