In this thread share your most underrated SEO tip. It should be something that you think is both very important, and widely unknown or under appreciated.

I'll start with a tip from a well-known member who shall remain unnamed, but it's one I've kept in my arsenal since I learned it:

Github is an incredibly underrated parasite property. I've been able to get Github pages ranking #1 for very competitive terms with almost no link building. They are rarely used as parasites, Google trusts them, and you can put almost whatever content you want on them.

Most certainly still viable & believe it was actually dropped here over a year before it was dropped on the other forum (but I am aware of the other forum as well )

I submit genuine news/article/blog to news/article/rumor/opinion sites. Usually, community/or mod needs to approve the submission. Since we are submitting genuine posts, they'll approve. 1 day later i edit and replace the genuine with the site link i want with a new title and description. As its been already 1 day old and already gone into the deep cave, nobody cares to check and flag. There you go, HQ backlink for free bwahahha. I also use this method with reddit posts as well

reddit,voat,techspy, linkgum, gamegrep, quora,hubski, hackernews, newsvine, slashdot,snapzu....literally every forums and news/article submission sites. Start with reddit lol
