Windows Activator Tools-Generate Product Keys .Is it SAFE?

My laptop is running Win 8.1 which was installed by the guy at the store ,so I'm guessing its pirated. I've been getting popup messages to 'Activate Windows' .

Since I don't have the product key I ca't do it. I found out I can use activators to generate keys.


Is this safe? I just want to change my account name ,picture and add a password.
I've read online that these keys/activators may have trojan or some kind of malware.

well this is not what thisfourm is about- but to answer your question they are not safe- I got my whole PC formated because of them,
best way yo to use them is on fresh install ,and then run the virus scans all you can- then start using your laptop, using those software on working laptop can be the reason of all the data loss .

its fine op, I personally use that also, but before using that you should install 1st the antivirus.

Just create a bootable USB drive with the windows os of your choice and boot your pc with the USB, click upgrade install instead of custom to comepletely wipe the drive

Just Download activaded version and you will be fine

Load utorrent then download a working windows 8.1 activated os.

Burn to disc .

But also do what was said above about makeing a bot disc / usb .

On the back of your laptop might see a windows serial key , that key for the main os, you can download retail os from utorrent and add the key .....

If your cleaver you can download a windows 7 os that when installed let you update to windows 10 free .....

Or just download a utorrent copy of win 10 .....

I meant to say use custom instead of upgrade.

With upgrade you keep all of your files.
