Are YT live streams still ranking good?

Is YouTube still favoring live streams over regular videos?

Yeah they do I found many smaller channel getting up sometime when they have a quite some viewers. So it can be manipulated and you can rank higher but its not for long.

So from what you're saying, live streams work better for temporary rankings.

Do you think sending backlinks / embeds / views after its uploaded will help the rankings stick?
