Questions about Clickbank

I have been on this forum reading about Clickbank for like two ours and I really got discouraged/ confused / deep in the fog. I want to clarify some questions and I hope you guys will be able to respond:
I am a beginner.

1. I've read guides about how to pick a product, especially the one from Mancar but none of the guides ever mentioned Upsells and Rebilling?
Why is that? As far as I'm concerned these "features" are critical for picking a product.

2. About gravity - lower gravity means less competition(5-30) and higher gravity means more competition (30- ∞) - that is absolutely clear, but what if the product with low gravity that I am supposed to promote is not doing well and it once had high gravity but now has low gravity due to issues with the product itself, etc.?

3. E-mai lists - I know the power of the e-mail list but is it truly necesarry for a beginner with a very limited budget? Aweber's e-mail service for example is $20 a month and it raises with the ammount of subscribers to your list, and if I cannot manage to do any sales to cover my expenses I am basically on minus and I can't start again.
Do you recommend any other company that provides this service at a lower price?

4. Facebook ads, bing ads, studads, eleavers? What are the best PPC websites for a low budget starter? One day ago I just found out about Studads - you pay only when a visitor reaches your website or your affiliate link ( yes, you can direct link with them ). The price per visitor can be as low as $0.05 and as I'm concerned, eleavers is a similar thing - both of them having great reviews.
What do you use, what has brung great conversions for your website?

This is everything I am confused about for now, I hope you can answer these as fast as possible so I can get started - nobody likes to go to battle without a plan.

1. You don't need to worry about upsells. Upsells are generally things that the person who buys the product will encounter them on the checkout list. About the rebills, well most of them are in the make money online niche and lose weight, and it's good to avoid those niches for now.

2. If a product had a high gravity, and now it have got lower, then go to cbengine.com and you'll see the history of that product, to eliminate your doubts.

However, remember that low competition product and low competition niche are 2 different stuff. For example, sciatica is super competitive, yet one of the most popular product on clickbank has only 40-50 gravity. That's low-average. In the meantime, lose weight top selling products have 300 gravity. The niche competition is similar(between sciatica or lose weight), or probably is way harder for sciatica.(speaking from google results' POV).

The explanation would be simple: in sciatica niche, the authority sites aren't promoting CB products, but monetizing with adsense or promoting some specific locations from US, while for the lose weight niche, they're promoting the products from CB.(speculation)

3. Email lists are good to build trust with people, and hence conversions. I didn't understood the value of it at first, and in your position, I'd be scared to death about the idea of interacting with people in my list. But it will definitely improve your conversions. Why? Because people will feel more confortable to buy from somebody who'd they know. Think a little a bit. If you were buying from the same store in the last couple months, and the one you've just barely noticed, which one would you choose?

4. None. As a starter, the safe way of integrating in the PPC world is by using coupons. Otherwise, you're more likely to lose money.

You can check indicator in cbengine, grav in most product is downing. Give up clickbank. AMAZON is a better option for you.

Well I understand that but the Amazon commission is 4% - 6%, Clickbank's is 75%.
Any more alternatives for Clickbank? I just found out they won't allow me to register even though I'm from a whitelisted country.

where are you from? You are from a whitelisted country still can't register CB? Bad story. softwareprojects is a nother choise but with less products. Amazon commission is less than cb but it has very higher conversion. You decide it by your own. Good luck

Yes I just found another topic on BHW regarding the same issue as mine, I am from a whitelisted country but still can't register. Thank you for your help.

you can try softwareprojects using mancar's methods... softwareprojects is very similars to clickbank
