Of course they say that. In the real life they do not have much control. Its just the address you enter.

Yea I'd like to know if I'm from Canada, and I sign up, will it still be 0%. Because for billing information you kind of have to write where you're from. I might just have to try this out myself and report since not many want to take the plunge.

It is India's domain, so I'm sure it has something to do with the laws there.

Good to know, seems like it would be a good move if you are trying a quick and dirty Shopify IM scheme. The long-term complications of using an India-based version seems like it would have repercussions and the chance that something with some major ramifications could happen. This is huge though. For anyone still wondering, shopify payments is not supported in India, which is why no fees are listed.
