Article Marketing Other Then Ezine Articles

i wanted to try article marketing, posted 5 articles to ezinearticles it mite have taken over 6 months for all of them to get approved. like 30 views on a couple and i have some backlinks on there

does anyone have experience with submitting articles and know of decent sites. i know theres alot, ive read articles that said ezine was the only one worthwhile or something

what else is there to know, is it just a dead thing now

ive read where people have gained traffic and sales from article marketing

i posted 5 articles, what can be a good move if it does anything, i can throw articles on there

Article marketing on platforms like ezine is dead. It's been dead for a few years now. Submitting articles to article directories is mostly a fruitless endeavor, just like replying with helpful information to your posts.

Article directories lost their luster back in 2010 or 2011 and are no longer a valid option to get traffic and have little to no value for backlinks as well.

I've got several thousand articles up on exine linking to old sites I had and have not even bothered to go and switch out the links they are so useless.

If you want traffic from content you write perhaps guest posting on heavily tracked sites would work for your niche but don't put any effort into any of the directories as they no longer rank.

@back2form has a list of Guest posting sites that you may want to look at as that would be a much better option for you as to getting traffic and even decent backlinks.
