Hello to every single person which is reading this right now. First of all let me introduce myself. I am 18 years old 'kid' from Croatia (So I apologise for any writing mistakes since English is not my native language) and I have a dream. I don't like getting bossed around. Been there done that. My father owns a restaurant at the beach and during summer I am working for him and busting my ass out. He loves working in a restaurant but I don't see myself working there my whole life. Yeah you can get a lot of money by working there or by owning a restaurant but that's just not for me. I don't see myself in it.
2 years ago I've made a youtube channel and I was so hyped and I thought I was going to become a next youtube star and that I will bank some serious money. In one year I got around 3M views at my channel and 30,000 subscribers (most of the subs were fake,I got them on addmefast). From those 3M views I earned around 500$ which sucks because I've invested so much time into editing videos and it wasn't worth it. After some time I figured out I was shit at being a youtuber. I didn't see myself in it anymore. I gave it a try and I failed but I have no regrets trying it out.
Last year I've went into Facebook marketing. I made a Facebook page in gaming niche and I was posting constatly memes and videos. After I've seen that I am not getting many likes I started reading some tips here from BHW on how to improve that. I gotta say that it helped me a lot. In one year I've reached 450,000+ likes and I've earned around 9500$ from that Facebook page when I was promoting some affiliate sites. 1 month ago I have put my both Facebook page and website on Flippa and I've sold it for 12,000$. When I told my father about my earnings he didn't believe me because he's old fashioned. I didn't really care that he didn't believe me because I had cash haha. I wasn't the type of the kid who never got out of the house because I was working at my goals. I went out every weekend with my friends. I had time for everything. Also,one of the reasons why I started and entered into the world of internet marketing was because I didn't want to ask my parents to lend me money so I can go out. For me,there isn't a better feeling in the world than when you earn your own money with hardwork (or easy work).
When I first started Facebook page and when I started promoting it in Facebook groups all of my friends were making fun of me. They were saying to me that I am wasting my time. But I knew they were wrong. I didn't give a shit about what they think. I knew I will succeed in my goal. (Also,don't think I got into fight with my friends because of that).
When I sold the page all of my friends were telling me wow I knew you succeed,you should buy a new car,waste money on hoes and that kind of stuff. But that shit wasn't for me. I wanted to invest that money and get even more money. So I did this. I invested all of my money into building an apartment. Since we live basically on the beach we have a lot of tourists coming here during Summer and I knew apartment will eventually pay itself off. My parents have 4 apartments and I've seen that they have guests during whole summer so I wanted to create my own apartment which I will be renting out and so I did. I've invested all of my money and made an apartment which I will be renting out this Summer. I will post the pictures in 2 weeks once the apartment is finished. When my father saw that I really got money off internet and that I made my apartment he started crying and he told me that he's sorry because he didn't believe in me and in my marketing skills. I told him it's okay and that he doesn't need to be sorry and that I succeeded thanks to him. It motivated me a lot because he didn't believe in me. It motivated me a lot because nobody else believed in me. It motivated me a lot because only I believed in me. You should be your own motivation and don't ever let anyone to stop you from reaching your goals.
